Thanks for the tip on seeds. I usually start 1-5 seeds of 1 strain and then grow them large enough, to see which have good size and structure for inside, then cut a dozen clones and roll! I need to switch to Led's on my 5x9 area. The S.E. HPS is killing me. But with the biden economy, it's only...
Ok, the title is what I'm looking for. I am on my last T5 bulbs that I have over my mothers. My mother area is a table, 4.5ft x 3ft. I have 0 experience with Led's yet, so I want advice.
All of the data for Led's is focused on veg and flower, more than I think I will need. I am thinking of 2...
Buy an apogee quantum par meter and measure the ppfd.

A pump and timer will flood the table? Use rockwool cubes or 4"-6" baskets of hydroton.
If you want to use coco in pots on the table you could use a dip/top feed system and let it drain the run off out of the table. This is a pre built set...
Couldn't you just use a "little giant" pump?

Beginning into hydro I would suggest a simple dwc or ebb and flow table. If you have money to spend a pre-built bucket system may be right for you. Don't waste your money on cartoon nutes and keep it sime with something like "Jack's 321" Google it.
I doesn't work that way. There is not 1 way to grow hydroponicly. Ebb and flow, hempy buckets, auto pots, top feed drip systems, aeroponics, etc. Every set up has different requirements.
$200? Does that include all the pvc, manifolds, pumps filters, valves, etc? That looks pretty nice. Thanks for the pics. What is the flow rate on your 8 port manifold?
In the last picture, is that a disconnect on the 1/4" line at the pot?
@jonnynobody Well, its been a while since you made your purchase. I'm looking at the same set up and would like to hear your experience now that you have had it for a while.
Are you happy with results? Do you have any suggestions or something you would do differently?
I do have digital timers. If I feed 6 plants from 1 manifold, I can run the feed pump for 1-2 minutes at time? Or however long it takes to get a 20% runoff? Seems pretty simple? I feel dumb for not thinking simple. Thanks for the advice.
