I ended up ordering some Wyeast packs. I was a little uneasy because of the previous messages. Everything ended up going fine and I got the 4 correct packs in the mail yesterday. I’m stoked to get some Cold Snap crosses going on my next run. The 12 Horchata S1 seeds were an awesome bonus.

Has anyone experimented with pureeing a small fresh red beet as a carbohydrate source for feeding the soil microbes in AACT instead of molasses?

Interesting idea. Would the malted barley provide benefits that a barley sprouted seed tea wouldn’t?

Thanks @pahpah-cee and @Jjgrow420 for the replies. I think I’m going to add some as a mulch for the final pots on my current round. May even try turning some into flour for a compost tea or try sprinkling it into the holes at transplant.

How would one go about using these? Turn them into a flour? Top dress/mix in with soil? Compost tea?

I misspoke when I mentioned the rec market. He said he was setting up a bigger breeding facility, not sure why that registered as rec when I read it at the time….

It seems his drop date has gotten pushed back at least twice now. The crosses I’ve seen posted were with Cold Snap which is really exciting; Zuyaqui, Urkle, Triangle Kush, and Motor Breath. It will be worth the wait.

Has anyone heard info on the differences between the sensi star v1 vs the sensi star V2 x Puck bc2 that are going to be dropped? On the speakeasy website they state the v2 came from wick family farms but I wasn't able to find anymore info.
