    15 Auto's in a 1.2 by 1.2 tent

It depends on what strains you will be running. If they are very uniform and compact autos of all the same strain, you might be able to fit 4 rows of 4 but personally I would stick with either 4 rows of 3 or even better yet: 3 rows of 3. I agree with the less is more theory here.

    Root Aphids in Flower

I'm using a 50/50 mix of Roots Organics and Sunshine #4. So far it looks like the ladybugs worked. I don't see any bugs besides ladybugs now.

    New Rules/Fees/Application Forms January 1

I'm curious to know what past mistakes can be used against a person in this background check. I wonder is it only for felonies or does it include ALL mistakes such as misdemeanors and current bench warrants for unpaid traffic violations and other trivial crap like that.

    Alternate node bud?

mr sunshine is correct^ Buds will grow at all nodes, but nodes will alternate when the plant is mature.

    HID proximity

RM3 pretty much nailed it. Monster cropping is cloning from flowering plants. Most of the time you dont even need to do any topping or fimming. But what I am trying to say is that if you top a cola, it leaves nothing to FIM unless you're talking about FIMing the 2 colas that grow out of the...

    HID proximity

Sounds like you have a good idea of what you're doing, except if you top them, there will be nothing to FIM. It's either FIM or top, one or the other. They both do pretty much the same thing: cause two tops to grow in place of one. By saying "chop" I meant chop of all the lower scraggly thin...

    Root Aphids in Flower

What was the outcome of this? I am in the same situation only I'm at 3.5 weeks on half of the plants, and 2 weeks on the other half. The second half that are at 2 weeks are WAY too big and bushy to move out of the flower room. They appear to be in the very beginning stages of infestation. I have...

    HID proximity

IMO, SCROG is the most efficient way to grow, period. Your idea sounds pretty damn close in terms of efficiency. My approach is a multi-faceted one using super-cropping, scrogging, LST, and anything else I need to keep my canopy even, relatively thin and full. I say I keep it then because those...

To offer my opinion on a few topics I've seen in the thread: A) Light spectrum does change when you dim it. I have been doing indoor for over 15 years, the last few of those 15 years have been at a decently large scale and I have been through a few dozen ballasts and hundreds of bulbs in these...

The closet zen garden of perpetual enlightenment

Fantastic work OP! Next time, you should consider pruning away all of the vegetation below the scrog screen so you don't end up with a bunch of larfy wispy buds that dry out to weigh almost nothing. I bet you dont get more than 3 grams between all of those plants lower foliage combined. Sure...

    Seedlings dying. Is there hope

Disregard this. At the risk of starting a flame war, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this fella doesn't have much experience with growing cannabis. I don't know what BarnBuster is looking at/thinking about to come to this conclusion but he is completely wrong. They are perfectly fine...

    PPM Q:

I feed 1400 ppm solution of Heavy16's full line from week 1 of flower and I reach levels of 1600+ ppm by week 3-4 and I have never seen a single burned leaf tip. Of course H16's cascading nutrients help alot with keeping them from burn. The manager of the hydro store that convinced me to switch...

Examples. water and wind burnt leaves.

I have experienced this plenty of times and in my experience, I think it isn't necessarily "windburn". In my opinion, it is caused by wind but not just by a single leaf having too much wind blown across it. It happens when two leaves are caused to constantly rub against each other from a...

Eggs, sap? Please identify these things!

" Abstract: Glandular trichomes are specialized hairs found on the surface of about 30% of all vascular plants and are responsible for a significant portion of a plant’s secondary chemistry. Glandular trichomes are an important source of essential oils, i.e., natural fragrances or products that...

Eggs, sap? Please identify these things!

I still think this isnt scale or Aphids. This pdf should help you understand this: http://www.mdpi.com/1422-0067/13/12/17077/pdf I'm feeling 100% certain that these are glandular hairs, just like DJ Short talked about. Keep us updated as to what you find. Just dont try to dab that sap now that...

Eggs, sap? Please identify these things!

I believe you have found a super rare plant that I heard DJ Short talk about at one of his breeding classes. Apparently, there is a rare phenomenon where resin is excreted through some type of hair or gland and it is highly sought after amongst breeders who know about it. I think you may have...

    Lights and nitrogen problem

Thats plenty enough light for a cabinet. And dont ever use urine to feed your plants. It's much too toxic to be used as a nutrition source. And finally, I'm like 95% certain that the plant on the left is not going to make it. I'm hoping I'm wrong, but I figured I'd take a guess at it and see if...
