One side? I'm now thinking the photo you provided might be a small portion of the whole plant.

    Broken stem

To me, it appears to be his main stem. Am I correct, OP?

Think of it like surgery. The longer you wait to do it, the worse the outcome can be. You need to tape that thing ASAP if you are intending to try to save it. What do you have to lose, you know?

    Grow Light Advice

I just had an idea OP. What about splurging for a surveillance camera that feeds video to your cell phone? Peace of mind while you travel.

    Grow Light Advice

I agree leaving a grow operation unattended is never advisable. From what I've researched, panel LEDs don't generate dangerous amounts of heat though, OP. I was concerned you might get the idea that fans like that are needed in all types of lights.

Connect it back together the closest you can to the way it was (before it snapped), and wrap duct tape around the injury site. Allow it to heal for at least 3 weeks. You can also leave the tape on until harvest if you want.

    Grow Light Advice

I've been wondering if this lamp is any good. It meets my personal detachable driver criteria. But, I have no clue what LEDs they are using in it (the UFS3000)...

    Plant mistake

Usually breaks are three week minimum healing time, right (before you remove tape)? I would think splits would be similar.

    Grow Light Advice

I actually started with a "blurple" light like you picked out. I created a thread similar to yours, and learned a lot about what to buy and what not to buy: https://www.rollitup.org/t/grow-light-upgrade-assistance-request.1037422/ In a nutshell, I would recommend avoiding lights that have...

    Grow Light Upgrade Assistance Request

I didn't like the idea of doing absolutely nothing for the lighting situation until my next grow. So, I picked out two of these cheap 50W dual gooseneck lamps on Amazon for supplemental light: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07LF21378/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 So far...

I wasn't aware these drivers generate so much heat until I made this thread. But, I am really glad people told me about that here. I'll definitely shoot for something that has that feature. I also did not know the technology is changing so much. Thanks for the information and YouTube...

    Grow Light Upgrade Assistance Request

An update: I forgot I could slide the bar holding the carbon filter forward without compromising the integrity of the tent. This gave me much easier access to my grow light. After rotating the plant and adjusting the light some, the existing light seems to be hitting all of my major bud sites...

The trouble, like with Nuka's suggestion, is I don't know how to install something like that. I will have to do some research.

    Grow Light Upgrade Assistance Request

I have only been growing for two years and am still learning about different equipment available. Do you happen to have any photos/videos of lights like the HLG QB 120s set up in a tent, or know how one would go about mounting something like that?

    Grow Light Upgrade Assistance Request

That's what I was afraid of. My goal is to get equal light coverage on all bud sites. I did the best I could to train the plant to grow flat (first time doing LST and topping). Now, it feels like my main bottleneck is the lamp.

What if I went with the MARS HYDRO TS 1000W instead of the 2000W? Do you think it would still be worth the purchase? The limitation of the 2.5 ft. flower coverage the MARS 1000W offers concerns me a little bit. My thought though, is that the MARS 1000W would be significantly better than the...

That seems a bit "barebones" to me. But, I like what it offers at the price point. I might consider something like that if I could find an easy way to mount them.

I do like that Mars Hydro light you suggested. The square shape fits my tent shape. I am also interested trying a light with a hood. The MAXSISUN MF2000 I picked out looks similar. But, I do not know if your choice might be higher quality or better in some other way. Thank you for your input.

    Grow Light Upgrade Assistance Request

Greetings everyone, Pictured is my current grow, which is Wonka Bars (from bagseed). I switched to a 12/12 schedule on Friday, October 30th. Yesterday, I decided to defoliate some leaves in the center of the plant. The idea was to get more light to the new buds sites forming under the four main...
