Proper ph around 6.5 or 7 water will do. But then I've never done it any other way.

I tried that on my 1st grow. It was very hard to dry the soil it was always dank. I had to drill a lot of holes in the sides of the bucket to dry it.

What would you recommend?

I bought mushroom compost today. So I'm asking before I mix my 25 gal. Of soil. I'm going with 1/3 peat moss, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 mushroom compost. Any one got constructive criticism for me here? BTW in 5 gal. Growbags.

I only feed at 3/4 or 1/2 The recommended Fox Farm is 2 to 3 tsp per gallon. I go with 2 for example. If your soil is good you don't need to feed very often. Try 2 weeks between feedings to be sure of the result. Diagnosing is extremely important also. That my fellow grower is the real challenge...

Szhlux 2x2 400 watt LED in a 2x4 ft grow tent. I'm running it at 50% power most of the grow. It does put off heat. But the spread is great. Lenin 1917 is great also. I did the same to stay in budget for a while. Worked fine.

I put up the Grow Tent two days ago and with a nice Szhlux 400 watt LED. I had to turn the light down to 50% as it was a s scaring my girls after a day. I think maybe the higher setting 800 watts might be helpful later but I love the 2×2 light it covers my 2x4 tent well. $168.00 on Amazon. Love...

Well I had the LEDs too close. I raised them and the leaves flattened out nicely

BTW. Got any advice on genetics. I have two grows now and one is way behind the other in the same conditions. I'm thinking that's an example?
