Been there had to rinse the roots lightly, added soil, compost,and 30% or more pearlite., and 3 plants thrived for being at 7 weeks old. Grow bags will help also. But I you have great advise in the previous members comment. I had to read it twice

In my AZ town. It's 6.5 outa the tap. But onceI use it my soil jumps to 7. Tried 5.0 flushing in 48 hours it was back to 7.0. I tried vinegar and after that molasses they were temporary short fixes.
