Are those crystal like things the trichomes?

This plant is about 1/3 the size of it's brother (13in vs 29in). From same seed pack. Different soils though. Much smaller buds on this one. Crystals showing on buds and leaves. Is anything wrong (or right) here? Any help appreciated. Jack Herer Day 59.

So today I went to straight water (normally a feed day)... should I go ahead and keep feeding next time? Feeding about once a week on a FF schedule at 60%. I was stopping feeding to start flush but it sounds like that is way early after what you said.
