Week 10 and I’m out of town for the week. Luckily my parents offered to house sit and my pops was cool to water the plants! I assume these are getting close and will check trichomes when I get home. I‘m done trying to figure out what was wrong with these so I’m just pushing them through.

Well, everyday I open the tent and these look worse. They’ve been getting water only for the past week (1/2 gallon per plant every 2-3 days) when pots are light. At this rate they’ll be nothing but dried up dead leaves before the finish. So frustrating. Might go nuclear on one plant and feed it...

This first grow has definitely been a learning experience. Next one I plan to do just 3 plants; one in the 2x2 and two in the 2x4. Also will not be adding any amendments to the soil and may change up the soil I use as well.

So I recalibrated my ph meter this evening and mother fucker it had been reading my tap at 8.2 but after recalibrating it now reads 7.0. I’ve been adjusting down to 6.2-6.5 but if the meter was off by 1.2 then actual ph would’ve been around 5.0-5.3. I decided to run a gallon of 6.5 ph water...

Plants #5 and #6 that are together in the 2.3x2.3. These don’t look too bad and are both in 5g pots. Frustrating how some look ok and others are struggling.

Here is plant #2 and is in a 5g pot. Again, the entire plant doesn’t look horrible, just certain sections, primarily the older growth looks to have an issue.

Yeah I have spent some time with outdoor veggies. Started with hand watering…that sucked! Moved to soaker hoses but felt like I was wasting water so moved to drip irrigation last year. So much better! This year I am working on in-line fertilizer with water soluble stuff vs dry amending.

Thanks dude! I jumped on seeds before really learning about genetics and their role in production. Will be exciting to see how mephisto seeds perform against similar growing as these.

Tail end of week #8…top dressed with FFOF earlier this week and watered this evening with some kelp tea.
