(PICS) HOW AM I DOING? week 6 flowering day 45 12/12

This plant looks very unusual for supposedly being on 12/12 for 6 weeks already. I have never seen a plant so reluctant to produce bud. There is something wrong here. I have a plant right now under my 600w HPS that has been flowering for one week and it looks about like this (but way healthier)...

    Central Maine Clone Swap?

Is anyone in the Augusta area interested in giving up a few cuttings in return for new strains? If so, feel free to post here. I have a couple of nice strains that I got from a long time breeder. They are dominantly Indicas and provide a lot of pain relief. The best medicine IMO is grown...

    Comment on my CFL Flowers

Good looking grow! I'm glad to see that your planst look so healthy under CFL :) I would like to suggest that you find a way to better reflect the light, as CFL growing requires top-notch reflection if you want those buds to really fatten up. I use a lot of 23w bulbs (both 2500k and 6500k)...

    2000w Custom CFL Flowering Light

Sorry for the delayed update. Here are some pics of the CFL grow, as promised. Tomorrow will mark week 5 of flowering. I made a huge mistake/accident last week when I misted(with water), and forgot to let my plant dry before throwing it back under the lights.... Moral of the story, no dabs...

    My 600 Watt Vert Thoughts

How well does this setup work? It looks simple enough! Does it keep temps down well enough? Thanks, and happy smoking. :leaf:

    Cfl: Plant ratio

Lol, never mind you guys. I don't want to strike up any drama. I've actually done the math and calculations, so I know that my info is accurate :) It is true that the design of a cfl fixture MUST be just right to provide enough light for it to beat out HPS. I'm just in this section to help out...

    Cfl: Plant ratio

Really? I think it's the opposite, but then again.... I am 'learning how to roll' HAHA

    Cfl: Plant ratio

It seems unreal, but IMO the closest thing to sun for growing indoors is a bunch whole lot of cfl. That or 1000w HPS bulbs, but price difference with energy savings considered makes the CFL the winner in efficiency. I believe that a WELL CONSTRUCTED CFL fixture will get MORE PRODUCT at the end...

    Cfl: Plant ratio

Yeah, if you want to pay 3/4 MORE for energy just to HEAT your grow space, then choose HID!

    Having some problems please help

It looks like the plants need a spectrum of micronutrients, more light, and not to be in flowering quite yet lol. Water when pots are almost dry but not bone dry. This is best judged by the weight of the pot, not the surface moisture content, as many good soils will keep moisture for quite a...

Need help should i harvest now pics included also need help with trichomes

IMO The calyxes will swell a lot more before the plants are done. You still have white/creamy hairs and no amber in trichromes(looks like). I have always know maturity by the color of trichromes through a magnifier (30x) minimum recommended. Using a magnifier also helps with early on detection...

    hellllppp!!!!

IMO Nute burn is accurate. What do the under sides of leaves look like? Always check for mites when you see those tiny little spots on the leaves. They are sneaky and can mess up the whole grow when after they build up forces :( To me, it looks like there was ALSO some spotting. Could be the...

    Advantage V. disadvantage CFL's

Cannabis thrives in the vegetative cycle from the use of the 'cool' light produced by 6500k, usually called "Natural Daylight" bulbs. MJ also needs small amounts of this cool light while flowering. But, the most important part of the spectrum for flowering period is a 'warm' CFL around 2700k...

    Advantage V. disadvantage CFL's

2.something grams per watt = extremely unlikely. Sorry to break it to you lastfrontier.

WTF is wrong with my plants PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP

Wouldn't it also be safe to say that a 1000w lamp for any plants that size is not a good fit? Especially considering how sickly they are atm. Hope you have better luck with them, take care!

    2000w Custom CFL Flowering Light

Haha, I may seem a little crazy, but check this out. Look up the "inverse square law," this makes it so clear about how much light is being wasted with distance. I would love to see pics if you decide to try side by side with CFL! Happy growing.

    2000w Custom CFL Flowering Light

Right on! I'm glad to see you understand nm as it can be confusing. I use a lot of 6500k for veg and I like to use some in flowering as well(along with a lot of 2500k). Is that clamp light with LED around it something you have used for a while? How does it work? Looks cool

when should i kick into flowering

I'm not so sure about lst and supercropping for those plants. From the photo, they looked stressed. The best thing would be to care for them well for about another week or more until they look like they have started some vigorous growth on all the tops. Then Flip. In my opinion, based on my...
