I recommend the same as above..add perlite. Peat and ewc alone won't give your soil enough aeration for the roots to grow. Take it from someone who has made this mistake before.

I say why not?? I am CONSTANTLY trying new things during damn near every grow. At the end of the day there's no one way to grow successfully. You can only do what works for you so add some and see how the ladies react

Nothing wrong with using tap water as long as you sit it out 24 hours. I suppose this 24 hour rule only applies when you're growing organically, since chlorine in tap water can compromise the microbiology in the soil.

I have a dehumidifier in the basement running, not in my actual tent..but I keep the vents open. The humidity is a consistently between 40 and 60% in the tent which seems to keep the ladies happy. I run mine 24 hours a day.
