fans on in dark can help fight humidity which goes up during dark.

i've had alot better results letting it dry first. everytime i have done it while it is wet it ends up kinda green and doesnt burn as well. if you let it dry out there shouldn't be much of a reason to grind it up. i'm no expert by any means, but i have had good results using dry trim

if it is just a regular door on your closet, try using some of that foam/rubber weather stripping around the door and throw a towel across the bottom.

if you do want to use the foxfarm soil try cutting it with some of the ff light warrior. the will make your soil not be so "hot" for your smaller babies
