I always reuse old soil...I havent bought soil for indoor gardening in over a year. I used happy frog soil. Obvoulsy before harvest you flush EVERYTHING out, Then I just let the plant naturally suck all the moisture out of the pot then after harvest I Break up the root ball and soil, screen it...

600 all day, it puts out alot of light and it will do a 4x4 area pretty nicely. me on the other hand, I use a 1000 in a 4x4 area.

How much space are we talking? and how big are you trying to get them? Id say in a 3 by 3 space, and doing sea of green method, you might just pull it off...but anything bigger then that and your going to encounter some problems. if I were you, Id go for the 400, or maybe even a 600, dude...

Id say 4, they are sunk into ground about 4 to 6 inches, but yeah they are getting tall and fast!

UPDATE!!!!!! So luckily, they were there for other reasons....i hope, anyway nothing was found and everything was BEAUTIFUL! Bone ass dry from 8 days of no water and hot days but none of them looked like they even noticed...thank god for beneficial fungi. kept my babies alive through the drought.

actually you cant tell but they are all planted on a slope, so not alot of water goes in but, when when it does get a good rain, they just drink it up really quick.

Eh the only reason im usuing them is because when i was digging, all i was doing was chopping roots, and i didnt want them to grow back and have my plants compete with the intruding vegatation.

So i went to water yesterday and guess what......my spot was SWARMING with forestry service and misc. vehicles. shit. so i quickly flipped a bitch and got out of there. this isnt good, taking a hit like this at such a crucial time. im hoping they were there for other reasons.... we will see.
