i gave the remaining plants some liquid fert. yesterday that is high nitrogen. teh leaves are not drooping anymore and there is a slight greening of the leaves. they are budding like crazy LOL

you really do not want to spray any sugar based products onto your leaves outdoors, at least if you have grasshoppers around. sugar is a magnet for 'hoppers. just pour around the roots, you will be fine
