Bud rot?

It is not something i have, but i want to prevent it if i can. I grow outdoors, all sativa plants. I have them exposed to about 6-7 direct hours of sunlight a day. they are budding VERY nicely, but they do get exposed to the florida rain. will this cause the buds to rot out? they are not due for harvest for at least another 8 weeks or so, and trying to cover them will take away the camo effects of my guerilla gardening. any advice will help. thanx

There's not much you can do about the humidity down there, expect not planting in a swamp. Plant wherever they get the best airflow, and hope for the best

thx much, bro. I have heard that bud rot is a huge problem for indica plants, i thought i could catch a break by planting sativa.. although i sure do miss a nice couchlock indica, hace not had any of that in ages LOL

heres some bud rot you can use to identify it.
it starts from the middle of the bud and works its way out, turning it brown and smelly.
i had to harvest 3 weeks early cause i dont think you can just cut the rotting ones off.
