I don't follow the exact ppm shown on the charts for some kinds of plants - some more, some less. But calculators are useful for more than just looking at EC. In any case, a lot of people go well over 1300ppm while flowering cannabis (whereas their chart maxes at about 1000-1100ppm in...

They look good - hope the rest of your grow goes just as well.

Just contact Sunlight Supply from their website by email and ask. They've always responded within a day (during the work week) whenever I've had to contact them for something.

    Cloning Plants By Tissue Culture

That problem is easily solvable through in vivo (not in vitro) chromosomal differentiation. Innate parthenogenisis-oriented plasticity methodology is a requirement though.

    Hydrogen peroxide added to res???

Technically, H2O2 is acidic but it oxidizes and turns into water rapidly - so it doesn't really have any effect on overall pH for practical purposes. It also won't have any practical effect on ppm's or electrical conductivity since it's not a dissolved solid (after oxidizing, only water remains).

    Hydrogen peroxide added to res???

Bleach = chlorine. People use it for the same reason they use hydrogen peroxide. They are both oxidizers and kill off microbes.

For anyone that hasn't checked in awhile, Botonicare added an interactive nutrient calculator [link] to their website for their different lines and additives.

    Hydrogen peroxide added to res???

I'm not knocking anyone specifically who posted on this thread by saying this, but isn't it ironic how many people on this site tell people tap water is bad for plants... but then who turn right around and recommend adding bleach (chlorine)/hydrogen peroxide and Cal-Mag into the bottled water...

Do I have to use Rockwool to germinate my seeds?

I fill the net cups up about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way full with the hydroton, place germinated seed on top with the tap root going down. Let it do it's thing and get anchored. Then just fill up the rest of the net cup with hydroton as it grows upwards.

Long term Storage of Mothers/Clones? How do I save these Genetics?

Some people could argue that yes, there are drawbacks in that there is a chance that random genetic mutation may result in a very, very small percentage of the off-spring not being exactly like the P1. And those people would be right one time out of a hundred to ten-thousand (or somewhere in...

    Identify this issue....

I don't know about everyone else but I put rooted cuttings right into full-strength nutrients (DWC). I don't treat them like seedlings when it comes to nutrient strength. They looked starved.

    Mycorrhizae with Cannibis

Check out this thread (by Heisenberg) for details and how it can be applied to our purposes even if you grow hydroponically: https://www.rollitup.org/dwc-bubbleponics/361430-dwc-root-slime-cure-aka.html

    Mycorrhizae with Cannibis

They aren't experimental - they are natural. Plants have evolved with, and are dependent upon beneficial microbes in the wild (not only mycorrhizae). Plants even go through the trouble of producing food for beneficial microbes in symbiosis. If you are growing 'organically' that means the...

    Battlefield 3

I have BF3 on xbox but haven't actually been playing it much since my Skyrim addiction got out of control. Talking about BF3 is making me want to play again though - I kind of just forgot about it even though I was a BFBC2 addict... and I still need to check out the new maps that came out for it...

    Running airstone in watercan (overkill?)

If your water is sitting around for 24+ hours I'd use an air stone to ward off anearobic bacteria. If you use tap water and want to dechlorinate the water - using an air stone will speed that process up. If mixing nutrients and letting it sit to mix thoroughly, I'd use an air stone. But it's...

tops of clones neon green? HELP!

Sure, you can water if needed. Just giving you my opinion on what I'd do - it may very well turn out to just need more nutrients or even N specifically. But I'd hold off until I had an idea of what the pH situation is before trying to tweak what you've been doing so far. They'll be fine until...

tops of clones neon green? HELP!

Plants look alright (definitely aren't going to do anything drastic overnight). I'd just hold off doing anything until you can rule pH issues out first. I mean, they look pretty good to me from what I can see in the picture. Don't do anything until you have the basic tools (measuring pH in this...

tops of clones neon green? HELP!

http://lucasformula.com/ There isn't really a feeding schedule using it - outside of starting seedlings off at a diluted amount. Have you been checking pH? You should rule out an Iron deficiency caused by the pH being too high. New growth should appear lighter in color at first, but if it's...
