    EWC Tea and cuttings

They definitely have enough to root, and they can still feed through their leaves without roots, but I'm just trying to prevent them from yellowing up on me.

About a pound? Uncharted HPA Territory?

Heh heh, we'll I admit I was wrong before. In my design I placed the misters between the plants, taking a closer look I realized that I'm a klutz and placed them directly under the plants. I'm in the process of repiping it now. You were right. The mist blew a hole in the bottom of a...

    EWC Tea and cuttings

My mothers were a little hungry before I took some cuttings and I'd like to give them just a tad bit of food while they're in a bubble cloner. I have two ideas: 1) Foliar feed them the EWC tea/alfalfa tea 2) put a tea bag in the bubbler with a little bit of molasses Does anyone else use these...

    Potassium Peroxymonosulfate

Make sense, so why are you the only one doing it? Searching startpage doesn't bring up any results, not even in the scientific community. I use an ORP meter and if I run constantly in aero the chlorine evaporates in like a day I'll have 0ppm by test strip active and 1ppm total and have gone...

    Potassium Peroxymonosulfate

Wait, so you guys actually run this? How do you do it? Do you make a solution with pool shock and this and then dose accordingly?

About a pound? Uncharted HPA Territory?

Well I had previously tried 12v pumps on the main table and threw a few Cuttings in. The 12v pumps didn't get as hot but at the lower pressure clogging was an issue. I actually had about half root with no hormones or anything in about a week. I don't know why the other half didn't root...

Thoughts of a first grower i need your help

Traditional indoor growing, especially as a new grower, you can expect about 0.5g per watt dry weight. To get 1kg you're going to need 2000 watts. If you're growing with 70 watts per sqft that means you need 1000 watts per 14 sqft. In order to get to the plants..you're going to need a bigger...

Is Distilled Water Bad to Use for Watering Your Plants?

The misinformation...it hurts. I've heard whackos say distilled and RO water are bad for you too, and that deionized water is really bad. It's a load of nonsense. The water is just a carrier, you can supply all of the plants nutrients yourself. Either use dirt or use an all encompassing...

Rockwool sounds appealing in that I wouldn't even need the net pots or neoprenes I could just stick them into the hole, but I imagine they'd also stay too soaked in this system lol.

Thoughts of a first grower i need your help

If you're just at ambient room temp I imagine 600W would be the max without exhausting out of the room. I have a similar sized tent with 600W of LED and it can get up to 85 degrees in there. If you can exhaust I'd say: Get two trays 2ft by 4ft and put them on either side of the tent when...

About a pound? Uncharted HPA Territory?

Day 7 I hope so too, but looking at them I'm doubting it. I think atomizer may be right about the wet rooters..the rooters are constantly soaked and I keep losing leaves. It's probably a combination of the wet rooters and thrips. It's a few that are really hurting, but about half aren't in...

    Solid Fertilizer (indoor grow)

You have dirt right? Well the nutes in that can get you started while you wait for the mail. I've seen osmocote at big box stores though, especially now since it's coming on planting season

    Anyone using organic "hempy bucquets"?

I have a pseudo help bucket garden for my mothers. In another thread I went over building it in detail. I use an aquavalve and an external res with the buckets in a tray. Perlite is my medium but they were started in soil so there is some in there. Soil is fine just keep it above the...

About a pound? Uncharted HPA Territory?

I had a LP aero system that I had problems rooting clones in. Temps were an issue. I had probably 5-6 feet of head from pump to sprayers as it was the only way I could fit it in my tent and I was using a utility pump with just the bottom submersed in water 15 on 15 off. I still got temps up to...

About a pound? Uncharted HPA Territory?

Well the problem with starting over is I'd likely be right back where I am (minus thrips). I've tried using a smaller aero setup to create aeroclones and it buried close to 160 of my babies before I took it down and went to rooters. I know heisenberg and them swear "the slime" is brown algae...

    guess my problem.

The leaves should be reaching out to the light. They're not. That and the tip yellowing makes it look like over watering to me too.

    Solid Fertilizer (indoor grow)

I've never used solid ferts but I've heard good things about osmocote. I don't think you'll need any for the seedlings as the dirt probably has enough stuff in it for the first few weeks but I'd guess you could use the amount for the size plant you want to grow after that. You may need to...

    is this marijuana?

Awe come on guys, some of us are just a little behind on the evolutionary cycle. You should always make your friend smoke/eat/pop whatever it is first and wait a day before you try.. I've lost a few friends.

    Anyone using organic "hempy bucquets"?

Yup. Organics will work fine. Just make sure you put clay shards, perlite, hydroton or something else on the bottom or the soil will probably wick too much moisture. It only has to go just over the drain hole.

About a pound? Uncharted HPA Territory?

Day 7 Just a short update. Well the rapid rooters seem to stay soaked thoroughly so I've stepped down to a minute every hour One minute of misting I think is ~2 gallons of water in the chamber. I also found a single live thrip while inspecting, so I sprayed them again with azamax. This time...
