mine is grounded to the actual reflector inside the tube...not sure if thats the safest thing in the world ... but it works...wait till you see the growth difference... when i switched to the 1000 the ladies LOVED it...gl with youre upgrade! HS

Dont use incandescents they are worthless...get as many of those spiral bulbs (compact flourescents) as you can and find some organic fertilizer. also throw a fan in there and try to keep the air moving. you want blue cfls for the veg cycle and red for the flowering...if youre on a budget get...

so i have been working on my setup... decided my flower room was too small so i am switching my veg room into another flowering rm! i made a diy cool tube for a 400w hps. i also repotted and fed my clones and they will stay under the HPS while i build a veg cabinet with my power compact...

both of my reflectors are cooled with a 185cfm fan equiped with a DIY carbon filter. i vent them into the attic.

Also... you have nothing reflecting the light back down...i trimmed the reflector so it fit in the tube so i waste less light! BTW...your cool tube helped me build mine ! thanks!

dude as plants flower they use up the nitrogen in older fan leaves...thus making them a lighter shade of green...i think your plants look good....then again im no pro...so listen to them!
