ive seen it done for a short time, in the flowering stage the plant is strating to consume energy that a mh bulb doesn't really cover. The HPS's spectrum is what it really needs and may not really show to much sign of growth til you get the hps put in. How long would it take you to get one?

i use cfl's all the way through clone to harvest. Use daylight cfl's (blue spectrum) during your vegg then when ready to move to flowering switch your bulbs to soft white cfl's (yellow spectrum) and you'll do fine. CFL's are great for more stealthy grows as well as cheaper in costs then hps all...

hey man this looks really good, but i would def. try and wait it out for like 4 more weeks. The size of the buds grow the most between 8 and 10 weeks. Also your looking for the white tenticals (pistols) to turn and dark amber color when its getting close to ready. Hope this helps man! Good Luck...

man im using a 5 gallon pot growing a super skunk strain that i've put through a good bit of stress and it is still going to be a decent harvest. And i truley bealieve part of it has to do with the room the plant has to expand its roots and retaining water. Hope this helps man

hey just curious but what lights are you running on that? And yea id give it a good week possibly two more.

agreed cutting off fan leaves is a bad choice when its not needed but, if you find that a few of your fan leaves are possibly blocking buds from a good bit of light exposure then it would be worth removing some during flowering to get the most light to your beautys.

i used jungle grow and it works great, i actully know about 10 growers who use it everytime.

dude i love molasses, i actually use 2tbs per gallon and not only is it possible to add about 20% in the size of your buds in the end but it also makes for a sweeter tasting smoke if you use it enough through flowering. I use it every watering with my nutes and/or without. Now you might want to...

god damn man its good to hear someone mention PR, that was the first type of dank i ever smoked or really even saw and your right it was close to looking like this but not quite as red. lol random i know but like i said i haven't heard anyone mention that in years.

if you dont have very good air moving through between the hps and the plant then they could be from some heat combined with your nute spray

i just stick my finger in the soil gentely about a half inch in and if its completely dry then its time to add some water, i'm also working out of a 5gallon bucket with a 4 foot plant so i can't really pick it up and do everything said above lol
