That's a good idea. I just put wet dish cloth on top of my soil around the plants. I'd be surprised if it got up to even 25% though. I really think I need to go buy a humidifier tomorrow. It produces 2250 lumens. So, it's similar to a big CFL but the penetration is much deeper and I can keep it farther away from my girls.

I wouldn't say 1 oz of water. Most tutorials say and my experience works best with a wet towel but not pools of water in the bag. I sometimes rewet the towel a bit after a few days. I always use distilled water for the paper towel method and for watering.

That seems to be the problem a lot of people are having with converting to LEDs--price. There is a cool article out right now on the high times website that goes really in depth about LEDs and lists some cool recent grow experiments carried out in controlled environments...

The transplant is a tricky question. I'd actually recommend this instead: flush your soil several times (throughout multiple days) and as your plants get bigger, start having them soak up some high quality nutes--you'd probably have better control of the pH too. 12 CFLs might do it--for 8...

Plant looks good man! You said you're germinating another 10 seeds and you have 2 x 15w panels and a CFL? Um, that's a fairly big grow and not nearly enough light. More plants doesn't necessarily mean more bud. Product is all proportional to the light, water, nutes, pH, etc. If you just LST one...

Definitely be careful with Miracle-Gro soil. I didn't pay for the Fox Farms Ocean Forest but am using a Pro-Mix Organic to which I've added pearlite and Fox Farms Tomato and Vegetable Fertilizer and Organic Blood Meal.
