What the hell is this? Kinda scared!

(I know you weren't talking to me but...) FYI, my plants are small because I did a shit job transplanting and shocked the fuck out of them so I probably delayed them like a week to a week and a half.

What the hell is this? Kinda scared!

I got a 400W HPS for vegging and flowering because I'm too lazy to find some way to hook up my big CFLs. 19/5 lighting I think or like 18.5/5.5. HPS is like 2 feet above plants. Wow. Umm only water when the top inch or two of soil is dry man. Once a day is almost definitely going to be too...

What the hell is this? Kinda scared!

Wow. I have almost the exact same thing. My cotyledons on my 2 week old turned really yellow and one of my leaf's tips turned yellow along with a brown spot almost exactly like that. It's been a few days since and I've just kept the pH normal along with the water schedule, kept good light and...

    Ozone Generator

I'm looking into odor control for my closet grow and I'm trying to decide between an inline fan with a carbon scrubber or an ozone generator. I don't really want to deal with the hassle of replacing the carbon (along with paying for it) so that leads me to ozone. I'm iffy with ozone because I've...

Plants leaves are curling down but otherwise look healthy. Pics inside

Still pretty new grower but I think you should lower the pH a tad to like 6.5 or so. IIRC, 6.8pH is at the end of the preferred limits. That is pretty odd though. The only things I've read that cause drooping is overwatering and CO2 poisoning. Doesn't look overwatered and you didn't mention a...

    Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!

Still pretty new to growing but you need to raise your pH some since it's soil to like 6.5ish. Looks like it's lacking some N and I don't think you needed to flush it out. My guess is pH lock but like I said I'm still pretty new.

    Yellowing on a Sprout

Yah she seems to be doing better now. Her new growth is looking good and that leaf necrosis and yellowing seems to have stopped. Just watered both and kept the runoff at 6.5pH and 6.6pH and they're under 19 hours of light I believe. Seems to all be going well

VERY light green leaves on sprout

i'm not gonna feed until they're like 3 weeks old. Idk what I was doing with the nitrate of soda. What you said makes sense though. I'm confused about the last parts though... what nutes burned off the new roots? and what moved onto the leaves?

    Yellowing on a Sprout

well I had two born in miracle grow moisture control. Then I transplanted them to cups. One I left in the MG, one I put in my soil which has a bit of 5-3-3 nutes. My one in MG is actually doing quite well... This one seems to be getting a bit better but it's not as good as my MG one. The only...

VERY light green leaves on sprout

would a really bad transplant job cause any of this?
  13. snowman4839

    Yellowing on a Sprout

actually could this be cause by a really shitty job of transplanting? I didn't do the best job transplanting to the cup.

    Yellowing on a Sprout

Shit... I just looked at how old they are and it's pretty pathetic they're only this large at day 13... What have I done to stunt the growth this much???

    Yellowing on a Sprout

I just dug it out and smelled the roots and there's no pungents odors. It just smells like the soil... I'm using my own soil mix with straight soil mixed with perlite, vemiculite, and 5-3-3 nutes. I don't have a tool to measure the humidity but I'm going to put some wet towels in there...

VERY light green leaves on sprout

But that's the thing. I don't know if it's good soil. I mixed it but this is only my second grow. I also still don't get why my cotyledons would yellow up this early.

VERY light green leaves on sprout

So I need to stop doing shit, transplant to straight soil with a runoff pH of like 6.5? and just hope and pray?
  18. snowman4839

VERY light green leaves on sprout

could it be heat stress? Do I need to raise my HPS?

VERY light green leaves on sprout

Well not only is the tip of this leaf yellowing more than the rest but it also has a necrotic mole that made a small hole in the leaf. wtf???

VERY light green leaves on sprout

I know they're too small to feed. I put a miniscule amount of nitrate of soda in the spray bottle. I guess I'll just get straight soil.
