VERY light green leaves on sprout

I looked at one of my babies today and she doesn't look like she's doing very good. Her leaves a little droopy but I don't think I've overwatered her. Also her leaves are VERY light green and the cotyledons are very yellow. What's up with this? She's in my own soil mix of straight soil without nutes, perlite and vemiculite for drainage, and 5-3-3 mixed in. I watered her with 7pH water and the runoff was like 6.9pH or 7pH. Isn't this nitrogen def? Should I foliar feed nitrate of soda solution?

To me that looks more like the starting of nute burn.. you say you've mixed something with a npk vaule of 5-3-3 in your soil?
What brand? is it slow release?
A little more info would help fella...

good luck

If it is a seedling I would say it's probably too much of something rather than not enough...You could try to transplant into something less hot

That may well be the cause fella..
most potting soils contain little to no nutes what so ever its only when we pot up do we start adding nutes and ferts to the soil..
well thats the way i work anyways..

Well I added some nitrate of soda to the top of the soil and gave it a little bit of water and foliar fed a bit of nitrate of soda solution. I hope that'll help. I'll keep foliar feeding unless anyone tells me otherwise.

I think you need to quit doing so much. Unless they have grown since the pics, there is barely 2 sets of leaves. Let them grow a bit before you start feeding

well shouldn't I do something? I mean they're droopy and yellowing. Obviously something is wrong... won't it just get worse if I don't do anything?

yeah, you are messing with them way too much. THEY ARE TOO SMALL TO FEED. The seeds contain enuff nutes to get them going. A little moisture (they are weeds, you know) and lots of light. You overfeed them and they will die...

Transplant to straight soil. RO or distilled water only for next 2 weeks. Or start over if you didn't pay for the seed and don't mess with nutes until you have a couple of weeks and growth behind you. I'm not the plant Dr., but my bet would be you're gonna burn it or lock it out if you keep messing with it.

I know they're too small to feed. I put a miniscule amount of nitrate of soda in the spray bottle. I guess I'll just get straight soil.

Well not only is the tip of this leaf yellowing more than the rest but it also has a necrotic mole that made a small hole in the leaf. wtf???

Could be from spraying folliar, droplet burn from the light or having too much shit in the medium this soon. Some ganga god can probably chime in with the exact element or whatever you locked out or burned with. But, the liklihood of something this size being naturally deficient isn't probable. You did something. Doing more things probably isn't going to help. IMO ..oh no it's yellow, hit with more N...wrong move. I would think more of cleaning up what you have already done until the damage is not progressing anymore.

you need to relax. it looks fine, slight problem with the first leaves but all the new growth looks fine, sometimes,a phenotype within a strain can have different coloured leaves.

thats normal.

you shouldnt feed such a young seedling, if it has good soil, it should be fine for quite awhile.

So I need to stop doing shit, transplant to straight soil with a runoff pH of like 6.5? and just hope and pray?

But that's the thing. I don't know if it's good soil. I mixed it but this is only my second grow. I also still don't get why my cotyledons would yellow up this early.
