Northern Lights Soil 150w HPS 2x1x3' Cab Journal

3 of 3 germinated. Thrown into rockwoll for two days, then placed into 6" pots of FF Ocean Forest. Watered. Fox Farms website has their feeding schedule asking for Big Bloom alone in the first two weeks. I know everyone says "dont start nutes untill theres __ number of nodes!" But Big Bloom is...

    What is columbian?

Yea i like the fact is says "powerful psychedelic effects." I'm sure that would make the pot 'seem' more potent. Its just a different kind of potency.

Oh sorry misread your post, thought you had switched to 12/12 and were asking if you should switch back to 24, then to 12/12 again later. Um I don't know about autos really, I'd switch to 12/12 either today or tomorrow. Switching does stress them, but eventually you need to switch to 12/12 at...

    What is columbian?

I've heard Columbian was all the rage in the 60s and such and would like to get my hands on the same strain. Is this a form of the real Columbian or some imposter? Where can I get the real deal...

How to Prepare Ocean Forest and Grow Big?

Ive seen other peoples journals where they run water, or low nuturients through the soil for a week or two before planting in it. Should I be doing anything like this? I have read with Fox Farm that it takes a while for the 'organic' nutes to build up in the soil. Again, fox farm Ocean forest...

I'd just keep it at 12/12, I think with autos though your supposed to wait till the first signs of flowering and then switch to 12/12. But second rule of thumb, after the first (dont tell anyone), is to do anything in your power to not stress the plant. Switching light cycles is a major stresser.

This is my somewhat stealth setup

I've actually got the exact same box, same light, except my ballast is separate, and same seeds coming tomorrow. A grow off anyone? Anyway, go get yourself a glass sheet 14x12" or something similar, and hold it up with some L brackets. They're for keeping cabinets together but just use them to...

Northern Lights Soil 150w HPS 2x1x3' Cab Journal

Well this will be my second grow. My first had everything that could go wrong did go wrong. From nute burn to drought to light timer malfunction during flower. So I decided to go with Northern Lights this time as I've heard it's a good beginner strain as it is pretty hardy. The seeds were...

Why not to flush your plant remains

So I read one here a while back that it was safe to flush any leaves and small stems. So I harvest and decide it'd be ok to flush a 3"x3" stemmy plant base. It gets clogged. I plunge my heart out, still clogged. I go to the store and spend $9 on a "auger" that is a piece of shit and doesn't...

Chopped leaves off mid flower - Help

yea im using fox farm at a little bit greater than the recommended dose. It's just hard because these nutes "build up in the soil over time" so I hope they build up fast enough to save it.

Chopped leaves off mid flower - Help

I'm about 1.5 months into flower, I did a big no no and took a bunch of big leaves off to open light up to the bottom. Now the plant seems to be pulling nutrients away from the tops to build up the bottom. The side tops were once dense but now are becoming airy and wilty, and loosing their...

Mid flower problems with Fox Farm. Please help!

Thanks. Yea cutting was a bad idea, live and learn. I took it out of the cab to take the pics and turned down the exposure to make sure the flash didn't white out the image.

Mid flower problems with Fox Farm. Please help!

I got "hydrated lime" and added it and now my pH is perfect and I added nutrients untill my "fertility" meter read in the ideal zone, but still in the low of the ideal zone. We shall see. I'm sure it's shocked from the pH and nute levels changing so dramatically.
