Was wondering if u could use BUD BLOOD with organic fert? Or are u supposed to use it alone?

What if i cut the bag around the bottom and just slide the bag over the top? I keep hearing about ppl slicing the roots on the side to trigger more root growth. Is that true? I just started the dark cycle b4 12/12. Can i do it when they get there first shot of light?
