Mistakes have been made, how do I fix them?

Which miracle grow did you get? Honestly, their performance organic soil likely isnt too bad for your plants if that's the one you got. But I'd be careful with feeding, even if you did buy the Performance. Feed when the plants leaves tell you it needs something. Dont just arbitrarily start...

HLG LED 4x8 Vegging ONLY Flood Tray Lighting Question

I dont believe anyone has said this yet... But buy the light based on the Flower footprint, not the veg footprint. Vegetative growth uses less light intensity overall anyway, so your able to cover a bigger area with the lights in veg, than you are in flower. That specific light, has a 6ft veg...

Struggling with fan placement in a 4x4 tent

Just keep your eye on it, itll be fine. The driver adds heat as well.. if possible, mounting it outside your tent might help the heat. And cut those wires and tape em off, or cap em or something for god sake (power off first!)

    Slight root damage during transplant

They'll be fine, as long as you dont add any additional stresses. Expect dropping for several days, and possible leaf damage that will almost look like nute burn (I litterally just had the same thing happen). As long as your light isnt too intense, medium/nutrients/waterings are well balanced...

Struggling with fan placement in a 4x4 tent

Heatsink is roughly 22in x 8in, QBs fill the entire heatsink, driver is XLG-240-M-AB I have the potentiometer at roughly 60%, and light is 30in above the top of my plants. 30k lux at the top of my 4 week old white widow. Hopefully the plant grows up into the higher lux areas for flower, so I...

Struggling with fan placement in a 4x4 tent

I just got the 260w HLG 648.. I had temps as high as 95°f in my 2x3, so I understand your pain. I have the exhaust sucking air off the top of the driver, I have a fan in the top of the tent pointed down at the top of the heatsink, and a fan about midway up the tent pointed up at the quantum...

Struggling with fan placement in a 4x4 tent

Fan placement is relative to your grow. If your light runs hot, you might has several fans in different areas pointed at the light. If you just need general airflow, you can put one in each corner, pointed at an angle to make a "cyclone" effect to get good airflow around your entire grow. If...

    2”x3” Tents

How long did you veg each plant for? I'm trying to imagine 6 plants in my space.. that's gotta be more of a SOG style grow? I'm just trying to understand why your yield would be less than mine. Granted, I've only ever run 4 plants max, but even then, 2-2.5oz per plant was my average. And that...

    2”x3” Tents

I run in a 2x3 as well.. what are you expecting at harvest? I've always gotten 2oz per plant in the past, but just upgraded to an 260w HLG 648 from my 150w HPS... so I'm hoping to see at least 30% increase on that if not more

    Help please

pH and EC are 2 completely different things. pH is a measurement of acidity/alkalinity. EC is a measurement of electrical Conductivity. you need a slightly acidic soil (pH between 6.0 - 7.0) when growing in soil. pH your water/nutrients in that range, and you should be fine. As for EC, here's...

    is my might to small?

It's likely your a victim of misleading naming/branding. You need at least 30w per sq ft. That's ACTUAL watts from the wall.. just because it says "1500w" somewhere on the packaging, doesnt mean the actual draw is 1500 watts. These knock off brands do that to mislead people into buying a...

    Help please

He said measure EC (Electrical Conductivity). Its similar in a sense to PPM (parts per million), in that it let's us know what's in our water at what levels. EC and PPM meters are a more exact way of measuring our nutrient mix, before giving it to our plant. It's also useful for measuring what...

    Help please

It's not exact. It varies strain to strain, plant to plant, as far as what the plants nutritional needs are. In my setup, using my nutrients, usually every other water has food in it (watering roughly once a week). There are too many variables, for me to tell you anything definitive. What I...

    Help please

Your smart phone has the capability of being used as a LUX meter. Download a LUX meter app, and use that to adjust your lighting. It's likely not perfectly accurate, but will help you figure out roughly what your light is doing at the canopy. But that is definitely not light burn/bleaching, its...

    Nutrient deficiency can't find

Turn your HID lighting off when you take pics so you dont have the lines. From what I can see, your plants look like they are over watered. Leaves are sagging and lack vigor. That specific leaf, is likely a byproduct of root rot. Let your soil dry out ENTIRELY between waterings. It's almost...

bud loosing denseness days before harvesting.(late flower)

Heat and humidity will cause that to happen. Try to lower both. 75f and 30-40% humidity are plenty for the end stage of flower. Any higher than that, you'll end up with airy buds

    When it can harvest

That's playing a major factor in finishing time as well. The plant needs a lot of energy to flower, mature, and put on a heavy swell. So you can expect a longer flower time. 10weeks at least, if not 12+

    Flushing

At this point, majority of the ferts (usually only 3 months max) in the Miracle Grow are gone regardless. Unless you've been adding other fertilizers/amendments, majority of the nutrients in your soil are gone. And regardless, theres no need to flush. If you want, just withhold nutrients, and...
