if you want the pollen you don't have to save the whole tree. just take a few clones and stick them in a area with no wind. once they start opening up just cut the balls off into a zip lock.

fiskars micro tips work well. I keep 3 pairs handy when im trimming a lot of bud. I also use a plastic clothes pin to hold the stems while I trim. It keeps from having to wear gloves and helps with cramping hands.

Douggey. Try to maintain cooler temps in the dry room to ensure a slow dry. If temps go above 70-75 the drying process speeds up considerably. Also I don't know if you are indoors but if you are hanging your lights too close then the heat can take away from the flavors and aromas in the cola's.

I started using a 600w hortilux about 2 months ago. Does anyone have an opinion on how well it works? I use a Digilux in vegg.

She still has at least a week. Also it takes a week to dry and a week of burping jars to where you can leave them sealed for a long period of time without getting mold. She looks healthy enough to go a few more weeks anyway. I would let them ride until I got back depending on how long the trip.

If she is flowering then yield will decrease. If she vegges a while longer then most of the N will be used. Just use plain water for a while.

I agree. whatever you use, mix a little of your main soil. You don't want to transplant into a totally different mix for a few reasons. Different water retention of the two soils can effect the way the roots develop.

optimal conditions with no stress maximizes yield. conditions meaning temp, humidity, light, air exchange, nutrient rich root zone, and good timing on giving the plant the nutrients it needs when it needs them.

definitely cut off all the f'd growth. they will bounce back though. let them start making new tops before you flower.
