I still run my pump 24/7 cause thatys what GH says to do. I though about putting the pump on a timer also, but I just cant...

I havent had any issues like that, I keep my res at about 68. Do you have an airstone in your res?

I almost bought a timer just for the reason of lowering my res temp. I called GH and they recommended I get a chiller instead. I also put a little 6" fan directly blowing on the pump and my temp went from like 80 to 68. I have thought about putting the pump on a timer still to save power, but...

The water level should be as low as you can put it and keep the roots in water. You should run it 24/7 and I had to put a small fan on the pump to get res temps down a little

I thought the same thing. I am gonna take the great white stuff back and return it. I flushed my res yesterday and added the Add.27, Silica, and Zone. I went with the amount the nutrient calculator said on their website. I also put hydrozyme in it too.

that makes me feel better about using DM, I am about to use Add.27 for the first time do you use silica and zone too? I am about to use them for the first time also. I also am gonna use hydrozyme and great white. Any feed back on either of them?
