    2”x3” Tents

What's your lighting? I've pushed out a bit over 10oz under a 150w HPS in a 4 plant tent, but I just upgraded to a 260w HLG 648. I just got a bunch of new genetics in, so I'm gonna play around and find a heavy hitter or 2. Once I'm running the genetics i want, and i can gauge my per plant...

Alternative to fox farm that's available in Australia?????

I was responding directly to the OP, who mentioned his only access to soil being his landscape guy only having loam w/ mush compost or loam w chicken manure. Was letting him know he doesnt need fox farm (or any other fancy soil mix) soil, and what he has available locally is perfectly fine. As...

    2”x3” Tents

2x3 is perfect for a closet grow. My closet is like 40in wide x 90 deep. My tent fits PERFECTLY inside the closet. Then I got my little 12"x12"x18" "veg box" with a 28w (actual wattage) LED bulb. Normally I run a full tent, harvest, fill back up.. but I'm working towards going perpetual rn...

Alternative to fox farm that's available in Australia?????

Just buy the loam with chicken Manure from your landscape guy. Dont buy mushroom compost.. Mushroom compost is left over substrate from mushroom growing and will have a lot of its N already drained away, as they dont reamend it before bagging and selling it. Whatever is leftover after...

    Humidity and temp control

I run a 2x3 tent. Ambient humidity is roughly 30% with lights on. I just added a cool mist humidifier about a week ago, set to run 30min every 2 hours. With 2 fans running for air circulation, and my 4in inline fan running on low, I'll get rH between 40-55% depending on when the humidifier was...

    Defoliating during flower.

I defoliate 2 weeks before 12/12 to give the plant time to recoup and work on growing out the remaining leaves. This way, they can put in work during the stretch, while still keeping over foliage density down Then defoliate basically as soon as the stretch is over to open up bud sites to light...

    Newbie concerns...any thoughts?

Broad yellowing from the bottom up is likely nitrogen deficiency, especially if it's been 5 weeks and you havent fed her yet. Hit her with a low dose of Alaskan fish fertilizer, or your preferred veg nutrient, and shell darken back up

Starting with Florescent lamps...ultimately to be under 1000 watt LED

Yea, they arent accurate by any means.. dude just tested it with his google pixel 3 vs a real light meter, it was about 5k lux off. BUT it's better than nothing

To top of trying to grow monsters ?

You can grow monsters with or without topping them.. that doesnt really determine the size of your plant, moreso the shape. Provide proper growing conditions, high quality lighting, a large container, proper nutrition, and as much time for vegetative growth as possible.. and you'll have monsters

Starting with Florescent lamps...ultimately to be under 1000 watt LED

They arent saying LED is a waste of time. They're saying your specific lighting choices were a waste of money/time. It is what it is now, since you already own and plan on using them, but for the future, they are lower quality, and will produce lower quality plant growth. Those lights dont...

    Is this okay LST?

You dont have much time for recovery from topping, and like I said previously it would be might tough to bend that plant at a 90° at this point, unless you start on the very top and give it another couple weeks with LST. Look up "scrog"... I think it will work better for you in your situation...

    8 x 8 room setup no tent 2 600 hps how many?

Dont put tinfoil on the walls. Use white mylar or just paint the walls flat white. Its more reflective and doesnt have all the wrinkles that can cause hot spots on the plant. As for lighting, 2x600w HPS wont fill an entire 8x8. You could maybe split the room so you have a veg space and a flower...

    Is this okay LST?

Even thought that plant is young-ish, your going to have a tough time getting a hard 90° bend on that stem. If your goal is to keep the plant low, I'd suggest topping the plant (cut it just below where the wire tie is right now on main stem), and then LST the 2 new tops on the node below...

    is this a mag deficiency?

With the age of your plant, it's likely not this damaged from deficiency. What soil is your plant in, what nutrients have you used, what type of light do you have and at what distance?

    Help! Seedling in distress apparently!

Dont mist your plants.. that's likely the cause of the burnt spot/discoloration. Also, be sure your letting the pots dry completely between waterings.

    Buying Seeds

They say that shit, but it's fine. They're moreso covering their asses, so customers arent emailing/calling them nonstop about shipping, while shipping all over the world is running at high capacity. Your order may take a few days longer than it normally would, but nothing extreme. My buddy...

    Buying Seeds

Attitude seed bank is good. The Vault is good . Seedsman is good. Not sure about Zambia, but they're all EU countries that ship to the US. As long as the pyrchase/sale of seeds isnt prohibited in your country, I'm sire they'll ship

    Suggestions on LST

You want to do the absolute least you can with an auto.. They lack the recovery time needed for anything other than uninhibited growth. Leave it be. Once your in flower, if you want to move some leaves to expose bud sites, that's fine.. otherwise, resist the urge to overdo it, because autos...

Could somebody please breakdown the different periods for the stages of growth?

The only thing I'm able to find in terms of the actual terminology and its use, is that it denotes young plants, or plants that have yet to be placed into their final grow space. Even looking through an extension of PSU on seed and seedling biology, it refers to the plant as a seedling, up...
