well man, i'm on my first grow as well... i use foxfarm ocean forest soil and their nutrients as well. worked out better than i could've imagined thus far, i'm 6 weeks flowering. best of luck, all i know is foxfarm has served me well. :peace:

yeah that'll do for flowering man- as long as the grow area is relatively small. ...i assume it is with 2 plants. check craigs list, or your local hydro store for the ballast. happy growin n tokin.

usually it's the lower fan leaves that get sapped of their N and therefore yellow. that photo of yours looks like heat stress man - burnt hairs and leaves. make sure your light is atleast 18" above your top cola. hope that helps. happy growin' n tokin'

yup. check pH. add more light. those brown and crispy leaf tips look like nute burn too man.

damn. get yourself a new timer or something man! dont know, but my timer went a bit haywire on my last grow at about 4 weeks flowering for a day or so- but i corrected it and they were fine. not sure bout your little ladies, but best of luck.

you need a pic or two, and i'd be surprised to find out the trichs are purple- but maybe the translucent-like shell is reflecting a bit of that purple on the leaves you were talking about. that's just a guess, get some pics up

Hey Greencross, thanks for the mildew tip. Would a wet towel do? Or does that shit need a thorough rinse?

maybe. Tin foil is garbage though man - it's got no reflectivity next to mylar or just plain white paint, it tears easy and its a damn good heat conductor. If you have to use it, have the dull side face the grow (if you didn't already know man).
