What do you guys think?

Im new to this forum, an even to growing.

This is my first grow

They came from some bag seed

No idea if they were male or female seeds

The biggest one is around 2 months

The others are a little over a month

Im using 3 CFLS that are 75w each

I am only fertilizing the oldest one, I will start the others on their Nutrients soon

I have them on a 18/6 light cycle

When they were sprouts, they were on 24hr light cycle

Im using an osculating fan only during its light hours

The temp is always good, and so is the humidity

For the most part, it seems like they are growing well, and fast, but then again, this is my first time, and I could be wrong

I have a really good knowledge of growing, and all the factors that go with it

Im just getting your guys’ opinions

I would use better lights, but my pockets are a lil empty(which is why I started growing in the first place.)
I think the lights are ok. I have heard a lot of bad things about using CLFS, but I think they work just fine.

Anyways, I uploaded some pics so you guys can get a look-see

Let me know what you think!

I can use all the advice in the world!!!

Oh, something i was wanting to know: When will i be able to tell if they are male or female? At what age do they begin showing their sex?

These are bagseed, so you can really assume they are not autoflower, which shows their sex on a timer. You wont be able to really tell the sex until you put them into 12/12. Then you'll either see little grape-looking balls (male) at the nodes, or you'll see more of an open pistil with 2 little hairs coming from it (female)...
Since this is bagseed you dont want to polinate, so get rid of the males as soon as they show.

yeah i knew that i had to put em on 12/12 before they would flower, but i didnt know that they didnt show their sex till they flower as well.

But for the most part do they look alright?

Oh, and on the 1st one the tips of the leaves are all brown, and they curl down.

Not sure if its cause of the nutrients that i am using, or a light problem

I dont think its the the light, cause i think i have enough for 3 plants.

Im also afraid of pruning the plant, and topping em off.

People can slam back and forth about CFL vs. HPS all day, but the fact is that they're both useful for different situations. HPS's put out more light in general and are simpler to set up, but they run much hotter and are less energy and output efficient, making them great for bigger grows or for people with more money to work on airflow and such. CFL's are more energy efficient and run cooler, but since you need so many of them to get enough light, they're a pain to set up, and you often wind up with less light than would be optimal. They're great for smaller low-profile grows, and for people who want to spend a bit less. CFL's are very effective, and there's no reason to ditch them for a setup you can't afford anyway.

As for me, I harvested my CFL grow a week ago, and I now have a row of marvelous sticky buds drying in my closet. CFL's are perfect for my setup. In my case, I'm running a small closet stealth grow, so an HPS would be considerably harder to keep cool. I only do three plants at any given time, so I don't really need the extra ruckus for the little improvement it would be.

My advice would be to throw in some more light, if you possibly can. The thing about CFL's is that you reeeally do need a shit ton of them to get adequate light to your plant. They look good, and they'll grow just fine with your setup, but you'll be amazed the difference it makes to throw a few extra bulbs in there. It would probably cost you about $30 max to get a couple 42W CFL's (compact are handier than tubes, typically) and some sockets.
Also, are you checking the pH of your watering mixture? You basically need to know the pH of your soil, your water, your nutes, and anything else that goes into your medium. For a soil grow, you want to shoot for between 6.5 and 7.0. That's honestly one of the very biggest factors determining the quality, health and yield of your plants. If the pH is too high or too low, it will inhibit the plants full absorption of nutrients. If your water's pH is off, it kinda negates all the spiffy stuff you put in the soil.. it's like trying to run a race with a big lead weight tied around your ankle.

lookin good so far. if you dont know the temperature of the lights i would buy some cfl's in both the daylight 6500K and soft white 2700k and compare your lights to them, you should be able to see with your eyes which your lights are closer to. if you're really strapped for cash you could then just take the light bulbs back too. veg color temps should be higher 6500K (whiter light, almost blue) and flowering should be around 2700K (soft white, yellowish)
