    Rockwool Cloning Help

yea, clones are always droopy the first few days.. the humidity is high and the balance btw root system versus stem and leaves is out of proportion (for any clone) so the lack of nutrients, oxygen and energy causes clones to look feeble... give them a huge amount of light, steady temps, 80%...

    HELP.. before it's too late

ditto.. dont change a thing.. the plants actually look great! nice buds and green everywhere except a few leaves.. just clip those yellow leaves off, they wont be producing sugars anyway and the plant could do without trying to keep them alive.. you can always add nitro to fix the deficiency but...

    What's Happening?

agree with desertrat.. its true that most of the time yellowing is a nit deficiency, depending on the genetics, some plants do drastically avert resources from unnecessary leaves other parts of the plant to use for bud production, it happens.. do the plant a favor by CUTTING OFF the yellow...

    Seedling Problems

hey man, too bad about your seedlings.. they look like they are on their way out.. dont try to save them now just start a new crop.. I would say the only explanations for the seedlings taking such a sudden turn are the following possibilities -- a) soil ph is too high at 7.5 (drop to 6.5) -...

i made a drastic move...whas you guys input? (pics)

man, you need to wait at least a couple weeks before trying to clone that mother cuz if it was into flowering by a whole week (and also was so mature before flowering), it may still be in a confused state and if you take clones now it will further stress the plant causing hermies.. I would get...

    Hermie? Need Help!!

yea, if it was pollen that was released, there would be fairly large, swollen and open (obvious and visible) sacks at the nodes .. if all you see are pistils on your plants but there is 'white powder', then I would agree with MuaySmoke.. its mold.. sacrifice the leaves and any other surface that...

    Lawn Mower Pruning Method?????

LOL .. yea skip the lawn mower 'stage' .. haha as far as topping and pruning goes .. I top the plants only once in their lifetime, 1 week into the flowering stage so that two decent size buds emerge at the tops.. I prune only as needed during veg (getting rid of leaves that have gone bad and/or...

    just started flowering

yea, I would transplant it to the larger pot.. as a rule, a 5 gallon pot per plant is good.. it will double in size by the end of the flowering stage so you dont want the roots to get bound.. Im surprised though that you were trying to flower so early, I've never heard of a plant successfully...

    Couple newb questions

Yup.. also sometimes on a 18/6 light cycle the males after the fifth week will start to show their balls.. if this happens, pull them and then you know that you can start flowering the rest of the plants whenever you're ready cuz the rest will probably be females.. the longer you wait the bigger...

    need to know something

ditto.. I would just add.. IF you only care about maximizing yield and quality of bud then wait (on an 18/6 light cycle) until the nodes have pre-flowers (identifying sex) then immediately put into flowering stage.. there is lower risk for males/hermies when you wait until the plant naturally...

    Potpimp's White Widow Grow.

yea, nice setup.. dont know much about LEDs but how close can you put the plants to the lights? those seedlings look very healthy.. have you put a fan on them yet? This will be interesting to watch an LED grow.. good luck!

    Wexpert's closet grow

yea nice looking plants.. though some of the leaves look just a tiny bit mis-colored which is usually some sort of deficiency.. its good you gave them some nutes today.. I would watch them carefully for the next few days to make sure they are ok with that change.. also one other thing you can do...

    First Closet Grow...NL with 600w HPS+ 4 CFL's

SWEET! this is by far the funnest time of the grow, when the buds begin to take shape and the smell of bud fills the grow space! From the pics of the node sites, I can see a couple of very small hairs/pistils on each, so they are all definitely female! Looks like they are thriving in that light...

    Consciousness420s random bagseed hydro grow

yea, they grew another few inches over the weekend.. these things are in their prime veg right now for sure which is why I have started dropping the photoperiod and changed the nutrient solution.. someone told me once that if you force them into the flowering cycle right when they are vegging...

    Consciousness420s random bagseed hydro grow

Sup all.. the three plants are now exactly one month old and doing very well in their veg stage.. they actually are 'growing like weeds' so thats good but having 3 of them in this small GH powergrower eco is causing the drip rate to fluctuate wildly (it only takes a single day for the reservoir...

    White widow!!!!!!!!!

hey, very nice setup! damn, those clones look really strong.. thats interesting that u dont use mother plants.. I just do like cruzer101, start a crop from seed, flower them then start a new crop with a new strain off the internet.. I like to try all different kinds.. my brain seems to adapt to...

    When to use Fan(s)

yep, keep the fan blowing over the top of the plant - no matter what height or how old it is.. just so its leaves wiggle back and forth a little ;)

    whats causing this?????? see (pics)

distance from light source looks fine.. the leaves are curling possibly because of over watering and/or nute burn.. I do see a few yellow specks on the leaves so it points to over feeding... I would flush them with distilled ph nuetral water before night fall then just water them every third day...

    Unexpected growth!

yea thats another sprout (from a separate seed) .. only through 'cloning' can you obtain another plant without starting from seed.. let it get at least two or three more sets of real leaves then transplant it to its own planter.. That main plant is rather large, I would begin the transition...
