I'm thinking about going with an all rubbermaid grow now to save some money on cabinets and spend it on more important things,after my first harvest I can upgrade if I want,but that means NO HPS which is ok. Thanks for your help guys.

I'm talking about veging under 6 cfls which each give off 2600 lumens. A lot of people veg with cfls and flower with Hps's.

Since I got most of the supplies now I think I'm going to veg under several cfls on a power strip which should give me 16,800 lumens and get a HPS for flowering but I 'm still wondering if 250 isn't to big for my cabinet? Going to buy the HPS at HTG btw good prices there on small HPS's with...

How long do you veg and how tall are your mature plants at harvest?

Was thinking of having 4 in veg 1 week apart and 4 in flower one week apart the idea being to harvest 1 plant per week. For me so long as I can get a least 1/4 dry a plant ill be happy at one harvest a week. I could do as many as 12 in each cabinet based on my sog research. Scratch that looking...

I ask because I'm concerned about the heat in my 25-5/8 by 18-7/8 by 69-3/8 inches (LxWxH) flowering cabinet because of the size and the fact that its plastic. And if the heats not going to be a problem then what about a 250 watt HPS? The CFL wont produce much heat of course but the HID is...

thats pretty much what I was hoping for and by a few months I just meant not all year and should have said that,im fairly confident I can grow for 6 and have enough for the other 6.

Ive also considered a sog,would I have better success with a sog in that space then going one plant?
