How many plants can I fit into a 45 gallon tub setup?

I was originally thinking of going with a cabinet setup and a HID light but rubbermaids and cfls are much cheaper and I figure I can always upgrade after my first harvest if I like THOUGH THIS IS PRIMARILY GOING TO BE A PERSONAL STASH ENTERPRISE.

Anyway I was thinking of setting up a veg chamber with two stacked 45 or 50 gallon tubs and a flower chamber with 3 stacked up and was wondering how many plants I could stuff in there with resonible success? Ive seen as many as 6 in some threads.

Ive already got most of my supplies including Nirvana White widow seeds,foxfarm soil and nutes,light bulbs,socket adapters,fans,and so on but still got to build the boxes so I would like to know.

As always thank you so much for your comments and this forum without the help noobs like me would never even think of growing ourselves.

4~6....or more if you grow them really small.

You might get more replies in the CFL sub-forum. I got a 600w HPS and 34"x40". I had planned to flower 9 plants in there but quickly learned 6 or 7 was the limit for fair light penetration. Good luck with your cfl-tub-grow.

It would be infinitely easier and I would get a much better yield if i just used a whole closet but that option isn't very stealthy I mean you know what do I say when someone gets suspicious about me keeping my closet locked and never open it around people? Still I'm running low on funds and without selling something (I'm close to that actually) I may have to go for it and throw a certain amount of caution to the wind.

I'm probably still going with a rubbermaid grow and I think I'll go with 3 or 4 LSTed plants,thanks again guys!

think Id get a better yield out of less plants?
