Holy crap that seems close for seedlings. I dunno if that's dimmable, but my Yehsense 1000 blurples recommend a 42 in distance in the seedling stage. I tried some at 32in and the light fried the little ones even with high RH. 42in was actually the sweet spot as advertised.

I'd assume you can only confirm by comparing how much they refunded to how much you paid. HLG, in the returns/exchange page, says they take a 10% restocking fee, unless it was returned/exchanged bc of hardware problems. That would be at least 70$...the cost of an entire QB96 Elite V2 kit.
