Project Fuoro - That graph that you display as your avatar is TOTALLY distorted....do you know that ?
LEDGirl- Do you have a PAR meter? Can you give the reading with the 316W LED at 12" and the reading for the 1000W HPS at 24" ?
That would be a good thing !
Roseman gives you the answer in his last post. You need to add Ph down to get the Ph in range, it is part of the maintenance program.
Bring the Ph in range otherwise you will surely have nute lock out.
Since you have compared the 318W Led's to being comparable to a 1000W HPS; the test should be just that, a 318W led grow and a 1000W HPS !
Report the bud quality and yield of both grows.
It is implied that the same plants and number of plants would be used in both of the grows.
This one every...
Yes. put your hands at the plant canopy, if your hand is the least bit uncomfortable, you are burning the Plant. Move the light up in this case. Start the light at 24" from the plant and see from there.
We have 400 watts of 1watt LED's (wavelength speced out) and also have 2 600W HPS....get super nice bud sets.
Treeth up thar has an LED grow going that is looking good...talk about it Treeth > Give a link
I missed something....what happened to the first grow?
If you are going to change consider a bubbleponic system (on rollit up). You would be able to compare LED's to CFL's.
Bubbleponic's + CFL's works very well, and it is easy.
What are the adjustments that you make?
Plants in DWC do not like NaCl, what do you do to get rid of it? as you will always be adding this salt water to the reservoir.
Your graph of the PAR chart is WAY distorted. I hope you and everyone else realizes that !
On the vertical axis there is NO number so it is meaningless. This is the graph used by the Chinese to entice you to buy LED's.
Where the graph drops in the middle in the green area is still 65%...
R M. I noticed that you use well water. Question - If the well water is filtered thru a Culiggan system and the result is PPM=190 , Ph=7.1 ;
is this water usable in the bubbleponics systems. The 190PPM comes from NaCl (salt). ( My soil plants like this water)
Thanks for your answer >
Do not see any heat stress...just keep watering them and the girls will make it. They are grown in high temps....as long as it is not DWC they should make it.
