    Repotting Trauma?

Ok. I don't have any perlite, so I used vermiculite at about a 50/50 ratio. It looks good - hopefully that will help. I'll feed them during their next watering. Thanks guys :)

Getting ready to flower - should I go with CFL or Tube?

Well, I do, but I either have to take one from my girlfriend, or use the gigantic one by the front door, but it has location concerns. I think I figured out what I'll do though: use the gf's medium closet with a table and a mylar tent over a PVC lighting frame. Sound good?

Getting ready to flower - should I go with CFL or Tube?

I'm getting ready to make my flowering box, and it's getting time to pick out lights. I can't handle the heat output of the other lights, so I'm going to go with fluorescent. I grabbed an off-the-shelf 23W CFL, and my light meter shows much more light than my tubes do, so I was thinking of...

    Repotting Trauma?

I used a mixture of old soil - I didn't disturb the root ball much - and either relatively regular potting soil (it wasn't the best, didn't drain great but they liked it if I was careful), or this stuff: http://www.promixfindgrowtopia.com/product/detail/pro-mix-vegetables-herb It contains...

    Repotting Trauma?

Hmm, interesting. I haven't fed them much recently after overfeeding them a bit when they were younger. I did feed them about a week ago. It came on fast though. Pretty much overnight/2 days. But I repotted about four or five days ago. Still N def?

    Repotting Trauma?

Hey guys, So I just repotted everything into classic pots. I put my biggest plant in the biggest pot, hoping to get a jump on things, but it doesn't look very happy. Should I move it into a smaller pot? Are they overwatered? Screenshot included: http://imgur.com/R9EGN1B...

When should I flower my plants? I'm thinking of transplanting them first. Bad idea?

Hmmm. Interesting. I also have an old cotton sheet... although I bet it'll rot, eh?

Thanks for the tips... I can't afford the bags just yet, but I'll spring for them the next time I can afford it :)

When should I flower my plants? I'm thinking of transplanting them first. Bad idea?

Oh! Cool! Hmm, they're affordable too. Interesting. Thanks a lot! So, I asked my mother (who is a horticulturalist) about moving into the larger ports, and she said it's dangerous to move them into too-large a pot as it encourages root rot. What do you guys think?

When should I flower my plants? I'm thinking of transplanting them first. Bad idea?

Very interesting. 5 gallon pots are expensive, so I got some buckets that are approximately the same size until I can find some bigger pots on sale somewhere. Thanks again guys :)

When should I flower my plants? I'm thinking of transplanting them first. Bad idea?

Can you tell me what the relation of pot size to output size is? Is there a formula or chart I can reference?

When should I flower my plants? I'm thinking of transplanting them first. Bad idea?

I was definitely considering doing just that. Although I don't have pots that size. I was going to go 1g. Or should I really get the larger pots? Will too large a pot distract it while it regrows roots just before flowering?

When should I flower my plants? I'm thinking of transplanting them first. Bad idea?

Hello all, I'm getting ready to flower my girls - I'm aiming for April 1st or so. But I was considering transplanting them into larger pots first to encourage them to get a bit larger. Or should I just stick with what I've got? Photos coming in a moment.

Help Identifying Plant Stress: pH problems?

Hey thanks, I really appreciate it! I managed to find some vinegar, so I used that. I guess it's all the sameish, sorta. I have some pH Down on the way. It's my understanding that this stuff will perform significantly better, because it has a pH buffer in it. Is that right? Anyways. I put 6.0...

Help Identifying Plant Stress: pH problems?

So it seems to be a halfway between the two, but still, my pH is certainly too high. I don't have any white vinegar, but I do have lemon juice. Should I just go get some white vinegar? And allright then - if my runoff is at 7.1, what pH should I get my water to? 6.5?
