it's not that i'm not serious about growing i just have limited funds and was glad i could get a proper hps for flowering... if anyone could point me in the direction of a ph pen for cheap or something then sure i'll get it but i can't really spend 50+ dollars right now.
Although, i do agree...
you might wanna invest in a light timer so that they turn on and off every 12 hours on the dot... worked wonders for me.. i vegged for about the same time as you and my girl showed hairs in 10 days... but strains vary.
i bet you'll go in there in a day or 2 and see signs.. also i heard males...
looks like most of the new growth is fine but almost every large fan leaf is damaged in some way.
is this problem going to kill my plant? and will buds still produce normally?
here are some pics i just took, it doesn't look too good for these leaves. anything i can do sooner than next watering... the soil still seems pretty damp
yeah it very well could have been below six... the lowest my tester can go is 6 and that's what it read... anything lower will read 6 as well
should i trim these leaves now or after the flush? and wheni trim them do i just cut right where it meats the main stem? also... some of the lower fan...
i think the pH before was in the same range, but could have been lower. the nutes i have is schultz brand 10-15-10 with micronutes... 7 drops per quart for indoor plants is what it said... i put about 17 drops in a gallon of distilled and the pH of that water may have been 6 ( i added a lil...
yeah the soil was prefertilized with a lower ratio that should have washed out by now. the new growth doesn't look bad at all... it just seems like all the fan leaves are getting problems... not the new growing shoots... i would say the nute strength was between 1/2 and 1/4... i know it wasn't a...
i just went in there (lights on) and the affected leaves are curving upwards around the edges... looks like they are cupping or something
heeellllppp meeee i don't wanna lose my baby lol
I got a lady in 10 inch pot with sta-green soil.
lighting is 150 watt hps and 6 26 watt 2700k spectrum lights set around the outside of her..
temps have been high lately 86-91 have been the highest in the closet.
never given a flush or anything.. i noticed a problem on her upper fan leaves...
your roots are probably bound up if you have yellowing that starts lower and works up... the constant watering of them could indicate that as well... but if you supply water and nutes when they need it a new container really isnt needed... they might need a transplant but during flowering might...
yeah i tested the runoff ph and i think it was around 6.6 according to the test tube i have. Soil started as miracle grow then transplanted to sta-green soil and around that time i had no real problems, this yellowing is completely new :?
I'm new to growing and i've got a problem with my only female!
Could someone give me a diagnosis and plan of action, it's my first time seeing a problem like this. My journal link is in my signature, page 2.
Thanks
wow looking pretty nice there, can see those trichs already!
I want to try a 12/12 from seed to start for my second grow, on my first right now. i'll have to follow your grow and see how it goes
