    Harvest Time? Magenta Hairs (PICS)

I don't know if this is ready for harvest, the hairs are not orange at all, can't tell if they are cloudy because of the extreme colors. Been 7 weeks flowering time. It is now cold outside, low 60's, could this effect the color?

    Early Misty

When I first decided to grow Early Misty I looked for reviews and could not find too many. So I figure I should post about it now. I have now have seven Early Misty plants growing outdoors. I started them in early April, and its now early September. Ten seed were orderd from...

Making Tea - is EZ.... & Cheap !

I have an update, one that I am sad to report. I used a very basic tea just to kick start my outdoor plant with a boost of N. I mixed bat guano and fish emulsion, let sit in a container for 2 days, I didn't have a pump going so I just shook it a few times. When I applied it, it smelled very...

Making Tea - is EZ.... & Cheap !

I should have clarified about the coffee grounds. The sole purpose of adding the coffee grounds is to balance the PH after adding the ash. I actually got this idea from someone else on the forum, one cup of used coffee grounds for each cup of ash, so they neutralize each other. I decided to...

Making Tea - is EZ.... & Cheap !

I have looked over my recipe and realized it really didn't add up to a well balanced fertilizer. After doing more research I have two recipes that I will use. Each one will be applied every two weeks and will be bubbled for 3 days before use, about 1 quart will be given to each plant. The...

    Organic potassium??? Tea???

Wood ash? Sounds good to me, I can get a bunch of it. How should it be applied though? If I were to make a tea of it, how many cups per gallon of water would be used? Or if I just top dress, how many feet per cup? I would prefer the ash thing over anything else, it makes sense to me.

    Organic potassium??? Tea???

Wood ash, and ash will do? I certainly can get a bunch of ash if needed. If I were going to make a tea, how much ash per gallon do you think would work, or if I decide to top dress, how many feet per cup? I have really started to love the whole organic thing, it just "makes sense" to me.

    Organic potassium??? Tea???

Reviving an old thread here... How about using bananas that are cut up and mixed into the rest of the tea while it bubbles for a few days. I two have bat guano high in N and some high in P but I need that K in the mix. Don't really want to order anything, any other way to get some K?

Making Tea - is EZ.... & Cheap !

I love this thread, it has been so instrumental in the way I think about fertilizers. I just made this quick recipe, gonna go out and make it soon, figure I post it here for the input. Vegetative Growth Tea: 1 Gallon filtered water (reverse osmosis) 1 Tablespoon Blood Meal 1 Tablespoon Bat...

    Fertilizer For Your Guerrilla Grow

I actually heard bad things about pig shit. Some say they have parasites that can be bad and it smells bad, as far as shit goes. You think it is okay just to use bat guano for everything? I could use one with high N for Veg and one with high P for flower. When I read about teas, they also...

    Fertilizer For Your Guerrilla Grow

I found this in my search for an organic tea. From the looks of it, it is for budding, but maybe without the molasses and with some bone meal or high N guano, it can be good for veg. Organic Budding Tea: 5 gallons water 2 cups bat guano 2 cups worm castings 1 cup fish emulsion 1/4...

    Fertilizer For Your Guerrilla Grow

Which ones do you use and how do you feed it to them? I was thinking of mixing some bat guano with some horse shit tea and some MG tomato food. I also like the idea of sprinkling the MG on the top to soak in for the next rain fall.

    Fertilizer For Your Guerrilla Grow

GodsGarden: Thanks for the input. I have heard so much about bat guano that I have seriously considered using it. Because it is a solid as well as the worm casting and bone meal, how often do you apply it, do you make a tea out of it first? Do you have a recipe for the mix? I would love to...

    Fertilizer For Your Guerrilla Grow

I wanted to get some ideas and opinions from other guerrilla growers out there on how to fertilize their crops. Obviously, there are limitations compared to the backyard or inside grower. I would imagine most people would prefer a liquid or soluble fert that can be mixed with water and applied...

    Guerilla Growing Ferts

First and foremost, I would like to apologize in advance for my question. I normally try to keep my post count down with these types of questions, I found the search tool to be extremely effective, usually more effective than creating a new post. I simply could not find a clear discussion on...

    Adding Nutes to Soilless Mediums

Twisty, what do you mean by 5ml? I would prefer using the fert every time I water, simply because I just use a big bucket and mix my ferts and water, and just use that to water every time. Currently it is 1/6 strength, a little less than 20% as recommend. If I do plan on using it every...

    Adding Nutes to Soilless Mediums

The only reason I would think of using nutes at this age is that there are no nutrients in the soil, at least that is what I believe. Peat Moss and Vermiculite would have very little if any nutrients. For "soilless mediums", do people use any nutes for the first 2 weeks, or 4 weeks as you...

    Adding Nutes to Soilless Mediums

I have my plants in a soilless medium, just peat moss and vermiculite, some lime in there too. The babies have been in it for a little while now and its time to give them some nutes. I have some MG tomato mix (18-18-21 Tomato Food, Special Formula Plus Magnesium) I wanted to know if I can use...
