I've been having a prob with one of my plants of 3. last week and a bit the plant has been suffering. not sure why. it get exactly the same as the other 2 plants but this one is looking much worse for wear. can anyone give me any advice? just changed it to qtr strength nute. PH 5.5 coz run...

yeh 3 times a day is what i've currently got mine set to. u can check some of my other post. Thinking i might have to add another 15 min cycle in there as some of my roots have hit the bottom of my tub :D

Thanks for that guys. yeh i just got some as stated b4. Problem is with most aquarium ph kits is it requires alot more of it as most of them are less concerntrated and that screws with ur EC levels :S few drops of the poper hydro stuff and it goes down without effecting EC level at all.

Bleh went to hydro store and got some xtra concentrated ph down. that should solve it

UPDATE: PH 5.9 EC:.2 (due to ph down solution) Fingers crossed hope they recover and dont get worse

Hi guys i was wondering what type of ph up down solutions everybody is using. currently running a drip sys with a res using ph down from my aquarium. (ment to be good stuff) thing is it causes my EC level to rise. Anyone else have this issue? Advice please kiss-ass

:s ouch. next time at least try to get off as much as u can without disturbing too much of the roots. grab some superthrive from the shops to help with the recovery.

:S hard to say man. Could you try to pack some more soil around the stem alittle higher? maybe support the stem some more and get it in the dirt?

Im using jiffy peats in a hydro setup. def take the nets off. I had 1 root coming through it when i did it. placed them straight into rockwool from there. they work great and have all the necessary stuff for the seedling to get a good start on life

Expensive? I paid about $14Aus for 120ml at a hydrostore. as u only need a few drops i considered it to be cheap as chips :D

Well i quickly gave them a bit of a flusher and redid the res completely. I think its stopped it from getting any worse at the rate it was getting...
