    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

It's very difficult to find a supplier of a dual hose AC unit here suprisingly. I've only found one supplier which is a 12000 btu unit... I could do a max of 3 of the units in the room for 36000 btu but I'd prefer to try and stick to 24000 btu if I can. My max temp in the hieght of summer is...

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

I actually live in a legal area it's just legalisation doesn't stop thieves. The drawing I put up pretty much shows more than a picture could atm as I haven't finished building tho

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

I also have axial fans mounted directly under the vertical cob fixture which sucks air in from the floor of the room (thinking co2) shoots it over the heatsinks fins and the curve of the sloped roof will then cause the co2 to be directed down into the plants. Axial fans are powerful I can feel...

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

Unfortunately I wish I could show pictures but for security I can't. I can't get any more hieght than 1.2m of footprint on the wall due to the sloped roof. I have the vertical cobs mounted vertically on a 2x4 frame of wood I made on wheels though... I wonder if I could create some sort of...

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

I've even contemplated running cobs directly below the plant shooting up so the bottom half of the plant can turn its leaves facing down for light and the top have of the plant have its leaves facing up for light

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

Don't understand what you mean? My lights can only hit the canopy and if they don't they hit Mylar right at the sides of the canopy. I'm just designing this room to try and get the most out of it. The further down the canopy i can get decent growth the better What I meant was if I have 1500...

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

hopefully I'll get some nice foot long colas from This setup then. I have always understud the inverse square law but I don't know what I was thinking... I was for some reason thinking if I grow closer to the lights I'll be able to get much longer colas... Theoretically the longest cola I...

375 ppfd is a very small amount of light isn't it?

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

I wish I could give them more distance now ... unfortunately due to my lack of space I can only increase the wattage not the space

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

I can grow my plants to 2 foot tall and get 18 inches from cob to canopy. That's probably my best option Hopefully that will allow me to get 2ft long colas So theoretically if I adjust my watts to produce 1500 ppfd At 18 inches I should get a decent ppfd a further 18 inches down

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

One benefit of growing vertical the plants grow at a 45 degree angle so a 100cm plant only reaches 70cm to the cob.

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

Right I'll see what I can do to increase canopy distance but there's no way I'd be able to get it to 24 inches that would only give me enough space for 30cm tall plants

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

I sometimes figure posting my whole design confuses things when i figured a simple wattage question was easy How does it change everything? I don't think of it as any different I just view my wall as the canopy instead of of the floor. One side is 1.2m high and 3m long and the other side is...

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

Ah right I get that. The distance required for the ppfd to drop would be larger so more light gets further down the stem. Does excess light manage to actually get through leaves though? If you have a full canopy can the leds be powerful enough to travel through a leaf?

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

If you have 4 cobs per square foot though the light should be already very well spread across your canopy. For every 12 inches away from the plant the usable light drops by half. I'm gonna get a par meter hopefully soon and I'll do tests on it all and see how it goes. I'm building a vertical...

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

You get better penetration by having lights higher? Really? Doesn't seem to make sense to me?

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

Raising the lamp would be the same as just dimming them further. If you can dim lights I don't see why anyone would raise lights when they can dim. Reason I want to attemp to get them as close as possible is that I want nice long colas. If you dim instead of raise them then you will be saving...

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

Your cobs look like they are over a meter above your plants? I am planning to have mine around 12-15 inches away max.

3kw of cobs in 3.6sq m? Do you know what your ppfd is?

    BTU AC per 1000w cob?

What issues in flower are you talking about? I've done several grows before. Plenty of experience and I've hit 1 gpw with hps plenty of times. I'm just changing over to cobs. I can get the portable ACs to remove 24000 BTU for 2600W. Not as good as a mini split but no other option in this...
