    Frustrated with droopy plants.

I agree 100% that they look under watered. Friday they were given 3 gallons of water and put in a rubber maid to soak up any run off. I checked all weekend long paying close attention to the weight of the pots and using a moisture meter and until this morning they didn't need water. There's 2...

    Frustrated with droopy plants.

Quick info.. 400w hps with cfls to supplement (hps is a foot or so away) 3/4 ffof 1/4 perlite temps vary from high 50's at night to low 80's during the day. (working on bringing those night temps up) 3 gallon smart pots no nutes moved to 12/12 a week ago ph seems to be between 6.8 and 7 with...

1 month in. LSD, Wappa, Nebula and Auto Ak.

Here's a shot of the Wappa with the flash used and one of the Ak taken from another room under different lighting.

1 month in. LSD, Wappa, Nebula and Auto Ak.

In this one top left is the LSD, then the AK. Bottom left is the Wappa and then the Nebula. The Lsd is a day or two behind, took a little longer to germ. The Wappa and Lsd were both topped/fimmed and the other two were pretty much left to do whatever they wanted. The Wappa and Nebula both...

1 month in. LSD, Wappa, Nebula and Auto Ak.

Everything but the LSD were freebies. The Wappa and Nebula are a pain in the ass to keep properly watered. They're either wilting from too much, or not enough water and it seems like they go from one extreme to the other rather easily. The LSD and auto seem to do great with the water schedule...

Wait.. So one little light leak will hermie my shit?

Had hermies last go due to light leaks. Only a couple of small plants with cfls but pulled well over 200 seeds out of em. I saved em and might use em down the road but they'll never be my first choice. Did get some decent smoke and a lot of butter out of the whole ordeal. Live and learn I guess.

Question about black spots on young plant.

Awesome, appreciate the advice. I'm going to try and get at least one clone from her and another from the wappa who is doing absolutely fantastic right now. I'll post another pic this evening. Again, thanks!

Question about black spots on young plant.

Awesome news, she perked right back up and appears to be doing just fine. From the looks of it, she's only a couple of days behind size wise and it appears like she's going to pull through. The trick was the humidity dome me thinks. I'll take some pics and post em in just a bit.

Question about black spots on young plant.

Let's assume she makes it but never quite reaches 100%, if I were to clone her, is it possible for the clones to exceed what she's capable of? If not, I'll sadly dump her and give Pineapple Express a go.

Question about black spots on young plant.

I've decided to move her out of the veg room and put her into her own little area under a make-shift humidity dome. I'll basically treat her like a clone that's trying to establish her roots. Less light, high humidity and I'll spray a couple of times a day.

Question about black spots on young plant.

She's from seed. I'll never use the pellets again. I've spent countless hours reading information about every stage of the way and I'll admit that the idea of them becoming root bound inside of a peat pellet was off my radar. No idea that would/could happen. You read up on everything, you get...

Question about black spots on young plant.

Thanks guys. I'm going to look into superthrive and put her under a humidity dome at least until she's big enough to take a couple of clones. + rep to both. Thanks again.

Question about black spots on young plant.

Is it common to have a nute deficiency at such an early age using ffof? I was under the assumption that ffof had enough nutes in it to get you by for at least a little while. Month or so maybe?

Question about black spots on young plant.

Last week I had noticed the Nebula wasn't growing quite as well as the other 3 and the only difference besides genetics was the Jiffy Pellet hadn't dissolved like the others. I pulled her up and noticed she was root bound inside of the pellet. I had to break up the majority of the roots to get...

    Busted!

Another incident happened a couple of years earlier but still pisses me off because of the way everything happened. A friend of mine borrows his dad's friend's truck to pick me up and stay over for the night. He's got a couple of doobies on him and we decide we'll wait to spark up when we get...

    Busted!

I was 19 or so at the time and just bought a car from my aunt so I needed a hand installing a new stereo and some speakers in the trunk. Called a couple of buddies over to check out the car and give me a hand putting everything in. Everything goes smoothly so I tell the guys I'll buy them some...

    Jiffy pots and rootbound.

I didn't have a drying out problem this time, it was too wet. I get what you're saying tho, dump em. Will do and I should consider myself lucky that only 1 has had any issues.

    Jiffy pots and rootbound.

Is it fairly common for seedlings to become rootbound within the peat pellets? Of the 4 planted, I had 1 that was looking pretty rough and with all conditions being equal I decided to take a look at her roots just to see what was going on. Basically the roots were circling the peat pellet and...

    Germination seeds problems....

Are you putting the wet paper towel with the seeds inside of a ziploc sandwich bag or anything? Few days ago I germinated 4 seeds by placing them into a wet paper towel, then inside of a airtight ziplock and filled the baggie with air before sealing it. After it's sealed I place it on top of my...
