Well I think that for someone just looking for personal meds the set up I'm running is gonna provide more than enough which is 360W of actual power draw (714W max rating). Irish is running DOUBLE the power I am but he gets his panels for free.....lucky bastard :-) LedBudGuy ran five ISIS-170's...

    Hempstar 3 Stage LED Grow

Yeah it's sure gonna be interesting....was just over checking out Irishboys journal and he's about a week ahead of me in the same sized area and running double my power in LED's so it will be interesting to see how big a difference that makes. I thought I was a bit overkill on lights but...

New York Power Diesel - 1000W MH veg - 1000W HPS Flower - First Grow....

Hey Hudson was that 1000HPS and the two blackstars for flower? I know your setup changed a few times so just trying to figure out what those ladies finished under

I would double that estimate. Mind you that depends if you are talking about the Max Rating of the panel or the consumption. Most manufacturers refer to the Wattage of their panel in reference to the maximum wattage the LED's are collectively rated for but in reality most LED's are driven at 50%...

I'm in a small sealed room with no A/C running a propane CO2 burner and temps aren't an issue at all. Certainly is a big change from the HID days. I actually think the reason so many people have had bad experiences with LED's is because they don't maintain adequate temps and with LED's putting...

6 light show with 1000's will heat your house in a Canadian winter :-) well almost, at least during the light cylce. Heat off 6x1000's is about 22,000BTU and my furnace is rated for 75,000 BTU.....but my furnace doesn't run constantly. Nat gas is way cheaper than electricity for heating so...

When you have foliage this thick you're gonna get some popcorn no matter what. Light can only get through so much leaf :-) I ran 1000's for many years and I trimmed a lot of popcorn. Gonna let them just rock anyway and the amount of popcorn should be pretty minimal. 1000w replacements? I...

    The Future; Induction Lighting?

While I do agree with your theories on getting fleeced because we are in a "specialized" market and that there is one principle that induction and floros have in common (charged gas) I really think that a majority of your points are incorrect or misinformed. Both lights use charged gas but...

Irish Boy's - 480W and 720w Grow LED Hydro - Land Of Clovers

What kind of light do you use when you take your pics? I need to post some natural lighting pics but never seem to get the full lighting like you do

Irish Boy's - 480W and 720w Grow LED Hydro - Land Of Clovers

Been real interested in TRF's but that certainly is a problem. My nutes are the Flora Nova line by GH and it has humic acid and a bunch of minerals and organic stuff too. My first time with it but incredibly simple to use and I picked it cause if I have to go out of town it's super easy for...

Thanks! Was gonna give them a trim job on the lower parts but letting them run au naturel to see how the popcorn turns out and to see how well these lights penetrate.

Well I guess part of it is that I'm lazy and I freak hate trimming that little crap on the bottom but that being said.....the whole point of me doing this was to see if, and how well these lights work....so I'll just let em ride!

I should have done it sooner if I was gonna and really tempted just to see how it goes with the penetration on these lights. Think I might take out the lowest inner popcorn and just leave most of it alone.

Well brothers, would like an opinion, think I'm gonna trim out some of the bottom salad! I'm in Day 23 of flower and should have done it sooner but still thinking it would help. Any input?

Day 23 of flower. Gotta get picks up a little more regularly. It's a bit late in the flower period to trim but I'm gonna get rid of some of the salad on the bottom tonite and post pics of that tomorrow. Well if I dont have CO2 and I'm at 1100 ppm I'm breathing awful hard...lol CO2 is propane...

Blue Dream 800W Induction Lights SOG

Well may not necessarily under the science but understand the practical application. I know when power consumption in British Columbia became an issue for a lot of growers there was a big swith up to 600WHID. I've got a friend who got them dialed in he was pulling only 15% less than under his...
