Hey Hudson has anyone posted decent numbers on Blackstar yet? I know lots of people expressing their love for the price but I haven't found a single grow journal yet where they post numbers comparable to Irishboy or LedBudGuy.

Lol...yeah I didn't pick the cheap ones!!! If I can get to 1.5 grams per watt I won't mind as much what the initial cost was. Definately cheaper lights out there but for what an oz is worth it's all about production. Here's hoping

Actual draw on the Magnums is 180 watts each so 360 total.

What lighting are you using to take the pictures with or do the Blackstars have lots of white light?

You wont be dissapointed with the MH HPS combo and I think you'll find the plants stay healthier longer. I know in my HPS days there was always lots of yellowing towards the end which a very tech minded grower friend told me was not just the plants sucking out but degredation of the clorophyll...

Day 11 of flower I think...lol. Ladies are looking fantastic and really filled out my grow space nicely. Think I finally have the ph on my watering solution nailed and the leaves are standing up. Color is great and little bud sites everywhere :-)

Well I just had my first LED run and screwed up a bit and still got .9 grams per watt which eclipsed the best run I ever got under HID (which was with 600's). Other than their start up price being tought to swallow I really think that once you make the investment, as long as its a decent panel...

The Magnums have 119 3 watt LED's. There are no 1 watters. The ISIS 170 is a mix of 1 watt and 3 watt LED's. GLH use 3watt/3led chipsets which mean that the individual LED's have three one watt diodes in each LED housing. The Magnum actual draw is 180 watts

I like GLH and they were a close second when I made the decision to buy the Magnums. I picked the Magnum primarily because of the 60 degree lens angle which I like vs the 90 degree. I have to run fewer, larger plants and cant do sog so going for penetration which I figure the narrower lens...

Room temp is about 82F and I feed or water every second day. Those are 3 gallon pots. Lights are about 15 inches off the plants. As for Coco, I'm not sold yet. I just cut down one crop (check my sig) and had nute issues that I thought were lockout but now think may have been calmag. I see...

They were vegged for about 6 weeks just because that was how long I had to run them to make the flower space available. I dropped the temps in the veg area to slow the growth to drag them out this long. In future I will only be vegging for four weeks
