New Grower. What do I need/need to know?

Only bits and pieces of this are correct.. most of it is just someones opinion. Nutes are necessary, but even in cheap soil you should be able to wait until mid flowering before anythings necessary. You don't need multiple bottle bullshit fertilizers. Keep it simple and you'll have better...

An old "Vietnam" vet needs help with this Flushing question

All the regular horticulture and gardening forums that I've been to all say the same thing, that flushing should only be done a last resort.

An old "Vietnam" vet needs help with this Flushing question

It totally depends on who you talk to. Myself, I'm of the school that flushing is NG. Edit: I'm not claiming to be an expert.... just a guy that takes a keep it simple, no nonsense approach, that's been successfully gardening for a long time.

    Prune for no Stress/Weak Growth!

@c.indica...... sorry you got so butt-hurt over my not stroking your ego. Seriously, read up on the basics. You haven't even got a grip on simple watering yet and you're trying to tell others what to do????? Man up and start accepting the truth - you're still pretty much clueless.

I just cannot understand why someone would go through not just the effort, but the risk of growing, only to have 5 or 6 grams dry product when done. Micro and PC case grows just make no sense to me.

    Tomatoes under HID

Are these being grown as ornamentals or are these some type of indoor hybrid 'hothouse' tomatoes bred for the shorter light periods? Correct me if I'm wrong, but last time I knew it tomatoes were 'long day' plants. Meaning they need longer than 12 hours of light to grow/produce fruit...
