With ones like these, there's no set-up other than mounting them, and no maintenance other than occasionally cleaning them. Ease of use, and saves electricity. Seems like a win-win situation. It just has me wondering why others aren't already doing it?

I second what gladstoned said. Regular gardening forums, imo, are probably a better source for sound info. I haven't done it myself, but people have been using aspirin in the water used for cuttings for years. I guess the salicyclic acid in it helps root developement.
