    Last time you watched t.v?

I have TW digital cable and there's commercials on every channel. Including channels that are nothing but advertisments.

    Last time you watched t.v?

The only time I watch tv anymore is when I can't find what I want online and commercial free. *edit It's funny though. I watch online tv because I don't like all the avertisments on regular tv, but I always click on the (online) broadcasters ads to help support the site. I guess it's because...

    Bagseed CFL Virgin

It's definitely a male. Study it. Remember what it looked like as the sex started to show. File the information away for future reference. What to do with it? Most people would kill it. If it was a potent strain, I'd grow it for a bit and save some of the pollen for use on a female in the near...

Side by Side test of Promix Flower & Plant and Vegetable & herb

I've been using the green bag stuff for a while now with good results. I use it straight out of the bag for seeds and cuttings, but there's not enough nutes in it to last more than a couple weeks once the plants are well rooted and start their Veg stage of growth. At that point you can either...

    Solar Power

To be more specific, I currently have passive air intake and the space is getting too warm. I was thinking about adding several solar powered fans to force cooler air in, so the exhaust fan works more efficiently. I figured I'd just mount the solar panels somewhere on on the wall and let them be...

    Solar Power

With ones like these, there's no set-up other than mounting them, and no maintenance other than occasionally cleaning them. Ease of use, and saves electricity. Seems like a win-win situation. It just has me wondering why others aren't already doing it?

    Welcome to the afterlife!

Trust me, I truly enjoy the modern day luxuries but I could live without cars, cell phones and computers pretty easily. The rest might be a challenge. It'll be tough for me to kill my own food instead of going to the store, but I'd adapt. As for growing food, I've been vegetable gardening since...

    Welcome to the afterlife!

Winter Woman;6857545]Several hundred year ago... No screw on lids. it's 2012. There will still be lots if anything happens. No toilet paper. That'll suck when it runs out, but we'll adapt. No cars. GOOD! No running water. ?? Sure there will be. You'll just have to pump it manually like in...

    Welcome to the afterlife!

Yeah, we got 12 months yet. Dec. 21, 2012 is supposedly the date. Most people got it wrong though. It's not going to be the end of the world, it's supposed to be the end of the world as we know it. IDK, but there's lotsa things happening all at the same time over the next year that can affect...

    Aspirin for root health?

I second what gladstoned said. Regular gardening forums, imo, are probably a better source for sound info. I haven't done it myself, but people have been using aspirin in the water used for cuttings for years. I guess the salicyclic acid in it helps root developement.
