so i could Veg my plants with a 600watt hps on a 18/6 cycle wait for them to hit 18-20" and then switch the timer to 12/12 to flower????? i thought hps were for flower only cuz of its yellowish looking light that emits,i thought you had to use a bright white Daylight bulb untill they got atleast...

ehh sounds good, but the problem is i dont plan on buying the hps systems unless i get a few good mother plants out of the 16 in veg and thats if they all stay alive so i wanna veg these plants for a while with some cheapo lights and save the hps and their energy costs for flower only.

yea the this is for my vegging room i got a 600w hps for the flower stage but i rushed out already and baught the t12's and opend them before i had the light fixtures should i go out and buy the t8's anyways? or is there not going to be that much difference for vegging?

hey i just baught a light fixture that takes both 48" t12 and t8, on the box of the fixture it says 2 t8's will produce 30% more light then 2 t12's but the lumen output on a the t12's are 3050 and the lumen output on the t8's are 2700 so my question is, doesnt that 30% more light produced by...
