I've taken a crop of plants and topped them all at the 3rd node, waited for them to recover, then trimmed all the fan leaves off. It creates a very bushy, lollypop type plant and it didn't seem to affect my overall yield and male/female ratio.

I think most people just have a problem with bagseed because of inferior genetics. I used bagseed right up until probably my tenth or fifteenth grow. It's better to practice on bagseed until you have the ability to grow expensive seedbank seed without messing something up.

Now the only thing I can tell ya is to get that herm away from the rest of your crop. Hermed buddy isn't that bud just seedy, this way at least the rest of your crop will stay seed free ... for now.

IMO opinion I think they would work fine. I've used just 6500k and just 2700k and a mixture of both and didn't seem to notice huge differences, but some people on here swear that the different bulbs for veg and flower are better. I guess it's up to you on that one.
