Be careful growing with 24/0. I made that mistake my first grow and wound up with 33% males. Everytime I've grown on 18/6 I've ended up with about 15-20% males. And although its slightly controversial, when I use 12/12 lighting for my entire grow, I get only 5-10% males. Of course this schedule...

I would keep on using 12/12, and if you really want to increase your bud's potency, then leave the lights off for the last two or three days. Your plant will push all it's THC into the buds trying to keep itself alive.

If you're really into cloning, keep a mother plant that you can always take clones off. If in any generation you find a girl which seems to do better than the rest, take clones of off her. You can do this for every generation. And if in some generation you find a girl who does exceptionally well...

You definately need way more light. I love CFL's but you definately need way more than what you have. Pick up at least two or three more and a Y socket or two.

Want my opinion? Keep with the CFL's for now. Wait until you have finished your first grow before you go spend tons of money on a lighting system, especially if you only plan to grow these two plants. Just get yourself some Y splitters for those lamps and get yourself some higher watt cfl's.

If you are worried about smoking harsh chemicals from your nutes, then just water cure the buds from the plant that you forgot to flush.

This is true, however i've made my own organic soil and have grown beautiful buds without ever adding nutes to my watering.
