    hey can sum 1 help.

Many questions can be answered by the GrowFAQ. It's a little early now to be deciding when to flower, it depends on how well your plant is doing at 4 weeks. Here's some threads on supercropping that came using search...

    hey can sum 1 help.

Being that you're using a 250W light, I'd suggest you keep plant height under 2-2.5ft. Look into supercropping and LST. You want to train it to keep a low profile with several main tops. Do you know which strain you'll be growing?

    T-5 vs. HPS

Personally, I'd go with a 1000W HPS. It's true that fluros operate at lower temps but they offer less lumens per watt(approx 100 vs 140) and can't penetrate a canopy as well as a HID light. Get a vented hood with a good extraction fan and you've basically fixed the heat issue. It's also true...

new grow need help any1 out there

If it's a new ballast you don't have anything to worry about. If you already have fluros, fine, no big deal if you don't. You can use the 400W HPS for your entire grow. Be sure and read up in the GrowFAQ for lots of essential info.

    First Grow/Indoor 11th Day pics

I'd quit the superthrive just to be safe. You don't need to re-introduce nutrients until after a seedling is well-rooted. Are you just growing the one plant?

    First Timer, everyone loves PICS

It looks overfed(moist soil, droopy leaves). Also, bringing indoor plants outside is quite a shock. Experienced growers harden them off by only putting them outside for a few hours each day. The glossiness on the leaves is the plant's way of protecting itself from the harsher outside elements...

HELP! Wife against idea of me having a grow room..

Let's say you go ahead against her wishes, how long of a run do you think you'll have with a pissed off cohabitant? Jilted lovers are more problematic for a grower than any rabbit, deer or spidermites. Figure out a way to keep her happy or you're toast.

HELP! Wife against idea of me having a grow room..

Either be more persuasive or respect her wishes. Seems silly to consider leaving the woman you married over a fucking grow op.

    First Timer, everyone loves PICS

My ladies are almost two weeks into flowering and they still don't smell all that much. They should really start smelling nice any week now.

I pretty much stick to the schedule. It's a little different for soil, though(I use hydro). Here's the soil chart: http://www.foxfarmfertilizer.com/soilfeed.pdf You should only need Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom, but they do recommend Grow Big for two weeks. If you have the means, great...

I can vouch for Foxfarm ferts, and yes, they make nutes for soil. Let your plants tell you when to water. Wait until the top half inch of soil dries out a bit between waterings. Don't go by arbitrary schedules unless you've observed a predictable pattern, but by that point it's no longer arbitrary.

It would be ideal to wait until they're healthier to induce flowering like you want, but yeah, I'd be concerned about vertical space. You might even consider tying them down a bit when they start to really stretch. Really depends on how things go.

    Bagseed luck of the draw?

I suppose it's possible, but are you absolutely sure? How much experience with sexing plants do you have? Any pics?

Not sure if you're aware, but your plants will likely double or triple in size when flowering is induced. Depending on how many females you end up with, you're going to need more light. You could probably get by with what you have if you only end up with 1-2 girls.

when curing, should the nugs moisture be kept at the "smokable" level?

Fuck, you're impatient. To answer you're question, I like to dry air my bud until it's dry to the touch. It will continue to release moisture as it cures in jars. I open the jars for a while every day for two weeks, then I open them weekly for another 2-4 weeks.

!st time grower (grow box question)

I grow in a tent myself and I've been very happy with it. Don't know if you're talking about a specific configuration, I'll need to see full specs and price to say whether it's worth your money.
