    120w LED lights

600W HPS is tried and proven. Not many people have reported successful grows with the new high power LED's, mainly because they're still relatively new. They look very promising but simply beyond affordable for hobbyists like myself. I can't drop a grand on one light. Prices are going to...

    is 2 42W CFL's enough light?

Add the second light by week 3 and get both of them as close to the plant as you can without burning it. That should get you through veg but you'll need to add more light for best results during flowering. If it were me, I'd try to have at least 150 watts on it by that point. You'll need the the...

How much cfl wattage per plant?

I think you'll need a good 5-6 40 watters for a four footer. I'd stick to the 2700k bulbs, or maybe do a 3:1 ratio of 2700k to 6500k presuming you're already into flowering.

FuLL uPdate!!! need advise on choices pleeeeez!!

If your temps are over 85 degrees you should definitely use AC. Regarding nutes, yes, there are tons of options. I happen to prefer Foxfarm.

How much cfl wattage per plant?

It also depends on the size of your space. A very basic rule of thumb is approximately 50 watts per square foot of grow space. If you're growing fewer than 3-4 plants, you might even figure about 100 watts per plant. Also, it would benefit your plants if you could set your lights up in a way...

    Is Bubbleponic really any good?

For my needs, ebb & flow works better but I have nothing against bubbleponics. Lots of happy growers here. If you find a system that you like, go for it. You'll probably get faster growth versus ebb & flow anyway.

To chop or not to chop !?!

I'd give it another two weeks, maybe longer depending on how it looks then. Definitely not ready now in my opinion.

Lack of vertical growth + rep

Depending on what you're growing(bagseed?), they're going to double or even triple in height after you induce flowering(12/12). Bear in mind that sativas stretch more than indicas.

Can I cut off some buds and let others keep growing?

They don't look ready. Unless you're desperate for smoke, let them go another few weeks.

Powering a 18" Fluorescent Tube light with a Computers CPU

Agreed^^^. Power supply units are usually pretty bulky, so it makes sense that people use a power strip to run everything.

Powering a 18" Fluorescent Tube light with a Computers CPU

Get a 65W CFL and you're good to go, just make sure it's the 6500K spectrum for veg and 2700K for flowering once you switch to 12/12. Also, you understand that a PC grow isn't going to produce much right? We're talking maybe a 1/4 ounce here.

What do you think about my first grow?

Don't clone the male, friend. Practice or not, take a cutting of the female.

What do you think about my first grow?

Unless you want your female to finish seedy as all hell, get that male out of there.

Why are you keeping the male? Looking to make more seeds?

    My First Grow (FEEDBACK PLEASE!!)

I already told you why it's beneficial, so yeah, you're wrong to assume it's bad. I'm not saying put them under gale force winds, just a little air to get the leaves moving. It's also good to have air flowing between your lights and plants to disperse bulb heat.

    My First Grow (FEEDBACK PLEASE!!)

Get some real nutrients. What is the actual combined wattage of your lights(not equivalent)? You'll need at least 65w for seedlings. Use the daylight spectrum(6500K) for veg and add as many 42W soft white bulbs as you can for flowering. Those babies would finish even better under a 400W HPS...

    cal-mag product?

"2-0-0" represents the NPK(nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium) values. There's plenty of calcium and magnesium in the stuff, trust me. You'll see that when you read the back of the bottle.

    Fem Wonder Women Veg Time?

Try to use 2 gallon pots. Let your plants grow between 8-12" tall and then switch to 12/12. Hopefully they shouldn't get any taller than 2-3 feet. With any luck you'll get an ounce per plant if you have quality light and good nutes.
