    First Cab...stoked!

Thats the glory of starting small. There's always a use for these little cabs. The huge room will have to wait. At some point in my life though, I would like to more than an Oz per plant but that's down the line.

@twostrokenut Okay so it would seem that they are doing as you said but with perlite and vermiculite. I am assuming you could do the same thing but run Coco and then perlite up passed the hole instead? It actually doesn't look like a bad idea and people seem to have great results with it! For...

Right ooooon! Then maybe I'm thinking of something else...Hmmm. I'll look in to it! I'll have to see if they are even something worth getting ahold of where I am.

I don't think I'm going to run hempy's this time. I have thought about it but I'm going to hand water until I learn a bit more and get a better dedicated grow space. Eventually, I plan to have a respectably sized room and can use this little cab as an little propagation room for clones or something.

That sounds like a good enough plan to me! Good luck to you as well.

Nice! I don't want to thread jack @Nugachino thread but I'm going to grow in Coco too. I might have a few questions down the road, if that's alright? Back to the cabs and yields and dank and stuff! ...sorry for the over enthusiasm. The tutey fruity is kicking in.

There ya go! But hey. @coreywebster you could use the temp meter to make your water/nute mix consistent at the same temp? I read somewhere that it makes a difference. You know anything about that?

Any time! We are all in this together! Gotta help out where ya can and learn as often as you can.

Haha Thanks for the pep talk! I think when you get in to supplying a complete life support system for a plant, things get a little more complicated so I don't think that is so abnormal that it can take a while to work out the kinks. Stay positive!

    The Path to Perfection

I can imagine that would work! The dish of water sounds like a good idea but I'd keep a close eye out for any molds, fungus or algae when dealing with standing water. Perhaps use a damp sponge or towel instead? I've seen it done with water bottle and a towel fashioned similar to that of a...

Also, one thing you might want to look in to getting is an EC meter to look at the parts per million of your rain water or tap water or what have you. This will tell you just how clean the water you're feeding your plants really is. Depending on your location, city or well water can have all...

Do you pH your rain water? I would say that you pH your water to 5.8-6.0 roundabouts and do a good flush after they have dried up. Really try to get your soil back to square one before feeding them anything. See where they sit after a couple days and go from there. If you are questioning your pH...

For the most part, yes. The main thing is that the new growth doesn't follow the same curve. New, green growth usually means that the plant is regulating properly and fixing itself. Just keep an eye out for more yellowing/mutated/clawed leaves.

Oh right on @moondance Forgot about the whole signature thing. I'll do that! Thanks!

Here's a thought, and I may be looking at your nice little blueprint wrong but if you run your extraction fan & filter solely for the flower portion so you can maintain 50% humidity and temperature there. Then completely seal your veg cab from everything else and just vent out with a PC fan in...

If you mean the older leaves still look funny, don't worry about them. They aren't going to heal. It's the new growth that you have to watch, and those little guys (thus far) look perky and green as far as I can see. I'm with @weed-whacker on this one. Keep with the water until they show signs...

That's a fair enough suggestion! I have never grown in an enclosed space before so I'll keep the growth limit in mind. I wouldn't say better versed. I just read a lot. I've never grown cannabis so all my reading could be all for none if I can't apply it correctly. Lol we'll see!

Hey RUI! Hows it hangin? Been lurking here for a while, but I after seeing how, for the most part, everyone seems to get along, I'm gonna stay. I've learned a lot so far and am excited to put it all in to motion. I've already started a Cab/Stealth thread so feel free to check it out and throw in...

Right but isn't veg time relative when it comes to medium, environment and nute regimen? I'll be running enriched Coco with half strength nutes. In my past experience with other etible flowers and fruits, growth rate can be close to double what you see in soil.

Right, so what you're saying is give them a reasonable amount for root growth but maintain size by training, topping, ect. Makes sense. I guess it would be a bummer if I got in to week 6 of flower or something and need a transplant. The real question here is, would larger pots be necessary if...
